Connected to a wide array of the PHX area's musicians for any custom ensemble. Neff is a professional recording and gigging musician with a performance degree and her own teaching studio.
My husband and I came across Megyn on a internet search for our wedding March 29th. We really wanted something other than a DJ playing music during the ceremony to make it special. We contacted Megyn and she responded in no time on our event. During the planning process she was very helpful and flexible to meet our needs. Megyn is an extraordinary violinist! We had her play at our wedding ceremony and we could not have been more pleased! Vendor Megyn Neff did not show up to my wedding booked with her in April. The deposit was paid to reserve the date with her. I did get an apology from her by email stating there was an issue with her booking system and some of the info was lost, which unfortunately was my wedding day. I did get my deposit back along with an offer from her to play any time for me and my husband. Needless to say our wedding was beautiful with or without a violinist but having one that showed up would have made the day even better.
Megyn played at our wedding ceremony and during cocktail hour with a guitarist. The music was beautiful and Megyn was very helpful prior to the wedding.

I can not even begin to tell you how happy I am to have had Megyn play at our wedding. My husbands father who has passed was a concert finalist and Megyn played a special request I had as a gift for him and my sister in law in memory of their father that brought tears to their eyes. Now that Megyn played for our wedding, I'll need to think up another major life event for her to entertain at. She's easy-going, communicative, and a wonderful musician, with a genuine intent to please.
We hired Megyn to play for our wedding and are so happy that we did! She was able to accommodate all of the songs that we wanted and added an elegant, unexpected flare that my guests loved! While we also had a DJ for the reception, the violin was the perfect touch to our ceremony. Booking Megyn to play at my wedding was the easiest and best thing I did in planning the wedding. She played as guests arrived, for the ceremony and then for a half hour during cocktails. She was so friendly and had no problem accomodating a more unusual song choice. Having her play made the whole event more romantic, more lovely. I didn't cry during the ceremony (I held it together) but right after the ceremony I heard her playing "All I Ask of You" from Phantom (song I requested) and that's when I had tears well up in my eyes I was so happy and the beautiful music just added so much to the event. (My eyes are welling up right now thinking about it!) Guests I've spoken to since the wedding have all said how beautiful it was and how well she played. Thanks again, Megyn!

We used Megyn for an outdoor wedding to play for our guests prior to the ceremony, during the ceremony, and immediately following while the bridal party was being photographed. She was a dream to work with, very responsive, professional and fairly priced. She was helpful in determining the playlist while still accommodating the bride's requests. When she says she will choose appropriate selections, you can trust her to use good taste. Her playing was delicate and heartfelt giving the wedding a lovely atmosphere. We hired Megyn to perform at our wedding. Prior to the wedding, she worked with my wife and I to determine a great set list. At the event, she was pleasant to work with and worked to identify the right location to perform.
