Jay arrived early enough to get set up and ready for the scheduled event. His music provided a perfect backdrop for our luncheon, not too loud, so that employees could engage in conversation while eating their holiday meal. It is evident that he has a lot of experience in these matters!

We needed a pianist/organist at the last minute for a memorial service. Jay was responsive and professional throughout. After he set his fee for the job, he learned we might like the hymns on the organ. Without asking for an additional fee, he went to the church a day early and practiced on that organ, to be sure he would be well prepared. He played beautifully throughout. Not only did he play the hymns well, but they were expressive -- intros were well thought out, register and voicing changes to keep the multiple verses interesting, and the tempi were spot-on -- not too slow as often happens. For the more difficult solo accompaniment, Jay played expressively and responsively. As the soloist I felt 100% secure. He was so in sync with me that it seemed like we had been singing together for years, rather than for half an hour. I cannot recommend him highly enough for your event.

Jay's music was the perfect touch for our daughter's wedding here at home. I cannot recommend Jazz by Jay Wright highly enough. I booked Jay and an upright-bass player to perform Big-Band music (Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc) for my 97-year-old grandmother at her rehab facility where she was recovering from a broken hip and replacement surgery. It took me awhile before I could settle all the details of when and where the performance would take place, but Jay was very patient with me and helpful, and once I knew the details it was very easy to book the performance. Everyone loved it, especially my grandmother, and I have every confidence that it was a great boost to her in her recovery. I couldn't be happier with the way it all worked out. Thanks, Jay & Co!
