He kept the energy going throughout the night and made sure everyone was having fun. dj G. has been listening to music his entire life. His mother would play lots of 70's disco music on the radio. His uncle introduced him to rock & soul songs of the 50's, 60's, 70's, & 80's through his extensive collection of LP records and 45's. His grandparents instilled a love of Latin music. As a teenager, he enjoyed going to dance parties. In college, he thrived on the club vibe. Later, as a professional adult, he enjoyed live bands and DJ's playing at local bars for happy hours.
He was always invited to friends' parties to bring some of his dance records to play for everyone. Over time, that transitioned to CD's and playlists. At some point, he became a group fitness instructor and taught himself how to mix music (using CD's) in order to have the best aerobic mix for his class. These mixes brought large, successful turnouts to his group fitness classes.
This long journey eventually lead him to officially start DJ'ing on the side (circa 2019) as he moved away from his beloved South Florida roots and over to the Los Angeles metropolitan area, where he now calls home.
