Steve communicated with me that evening when he would arrive, when he arrived, and when I would like him to come in. He played 3 songs and even went over to my grandmother to wish her a happy birthday and chat for a few minutes. It was a surprise to everyone and really made the party extra special for her!
He arrived at location on time but was in the parking lot practicing when casket came out of the church. He rounded the corner and played beautifully! He also played when the casket was hosted into the hearst. Great bag piper. Awesome apparel. Would hire again. Glad he was there. Great job.

Just to clarify, I was actually tuning up in the lot while looking for the hearse as I didn't spot it on my arrival, perhaps it hadn't arrived until after I did. I learned to play the bagpipes as a youth in Canada, went to college in the US on a Music/Scottish Arts scholarship, and I've competed at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow with one of the top bands. Currently playing with the City of Chicago Pipe Band's grade 2 band and leading its grade 4 band.
