We are a Pop, Alternative Band with a very energetic live show! We have opened for bands like Skillet, Panic at the Disco, Switchfoot, and many more. We were also top 20 on Americas Got Talent season 10, making us the only band to make it to the semi finals on AGT. We travel with a full sound system, and can play a loud energetic show, but can also break it down for smaller events. When you watch 3 Shades of Blue you should expect a lot of energy. We throw a show that is sure to get people dancing, singing, and jumping up and down. We have an upright piano that we flip off of and we have a light show that is entertaining all by itself. We have songs that are easy to learn and we encourage people to sing with us! We also enjoy doing some worship songs for youth groups and churches. We want everyone at our show to leave happier than when they came in. We enjoy meeting and getting to know people and we are flexible with changes. We love people and we love music!
3 Shades of Blue is a Christian rock band from Philadelphia, PA. They are 3 brothers (Jeffery- 19, Jesse- 19, Austin- 18) and their best friend Dane- 19. They are known for their unique blend of rock and solid lyrics of hope. Their energy and hearts for music have gained the attention of leaders in the industry and many fans along the East Coast. They have performed with many national and international bands like Plumb, Mikeschair, Josh Wilson, Reilly, Stellar Kart, The Advice, Lightswitch, Superhero and many more. This December they open for Skillet and Tenth Avenue North at Winterfest! 3SB has played at festivals around the east including: Creation, Alive, and The Columbia Freedom Festival. By invitation, they recently recorded their EP, Love Will Sing Out, at Michael Card’s studio in Franklin, TN, working with producer Keith Compton. Recently they were voted Best Contemporary Christian Band in a 64 band battle. One day they dream of playing on stages around the world sharing the love of Christ. This is their passion.
We would love to come to your youth group or event! We bring a full sound system and light show from SMBlighting! We play for events big and small and we are willing to travel. We are flexible with budgets depending on the travel and venue. Our live show is full of energy and loved by all ages. We love to get to know a crowd and involve them well also being able to share our testimonies of how God has changed our lives. We bring all of our own sound gear and light show! This makes it very easy to play for venues who might not be able to supply us with the sound system we need. However, we are also able to plug into different systems depending on the venue. If that is the case we will send a word document with our input lists and needs.
We play many originals along with popular covers and worship songs. If you need us to learn a song for a specific reason we are able to do that in most cases.

We have always been inspired by bands like Switchfoot, Needtobreath, The 1975, Imagine Drangons, and Twenty One Pilots. But we are contently listening to new sounds and getting new ideas to create our own unique sound. We have opened for bands like Tenth Avenue North, Switchfoot, Skillet, Family Force Five, and many more. We enjoy being able to learn from everyone.
