Starting in 2020, and based out of Atlanta, Georgia these talented and local musicians met downtown at the Atlanta Beltline while entertaining the community and months later 400 PROOF was born. Enjoying the natural sounds of the city 400 PROOF continues to jam and create rich musical culture that you see, hear, and enjoy today. Uriel Carney, drum artist and producer, Marquis Hare, saxophonist and composer, Moe Winograd bass and string player, and newest member of 400 PROOF Derrill Pruitt, gifted keyboardist.

Inside the city walls, having the privilege to feed jazz music lovers with our sultry sound at different venues alongside Georgia State highway 400, we have been summoned on many occasions for our toe tapping, head nodding, and finger snapping melodies all around the Georgia area, which was the inspiration to our name, 400 PROOF.

With our heighten success we’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with various successful musicians, such as, the international jazz pianist Donald Brown, Kirk Whalum, Outkast, Branford Marsalis, Nappy Roots, Code Red, Carolyn Malachi, Malcolm Jamal-Warner and the Georgia Symphony Orchestra.
