Singer/saxophonist/ keyboardist Michael D’Egidio is 5th Avenue Sax.
Michael has been a professional entertainer for over fifty years. He plays big band dance music and classic hits with authenticity and emotion. He has appeared in concert with Bo Diddley, Patti LaBelle, Peter Wolf, Ben E. King, Steven Tyler, The Sherrills, The Del Vikings, Rick James, and the Buffalo Symphony Orchestra. Michael has performed in opening acts for Roy Orbison, Three Dog Night, Clarence Clemons, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dionne Warwick, and Cyndi Lauper.

We were very pleased with having chosen Michael as the saxophonist for our wedding day in Sanibel. He was very fast to respond & provided us with a long variety of songs beforehand for us to chose what we wanted him to play for both pre-ceremony & post ceremony. Due to bad weather (Venue was 100% outside) we moved our wedding from 5pm to 11am just the night before & Michael had no problems accommodating to our request. We were lucky to work amazing vendors & he was definitely one of them!

You don't often get a chance to play music for a couple who has been married for 69 years. I am really thrilled that they enjoyed the music.
If we could give him more starts we would!!! Michael, did and amazing performance!!! there is not words to describe how incredible he was.
Michael is The Best.....what a pleasure working with a real professional. Communication was great, he offered his assistant and experience in order to help us to choose and pick what we want. He was on time and his performance was just outstanding. Everybody loved him. We all could feel the joy he has playing music and entertaining people.
This is not going to be the last time we will hire him and we we recommend him anytime without hesitation.

Michael played saxophone during our wedding cocktail hour. Our guests raved over him! He is an incredibly talented musician and a kind man. He was prompt in responding to my messages and was professional during our exchanges, as well as throughout the event. He saw that our bridal party was still taking photos a little past our cocktail hour and continued to play past the time we paid him for until pictures were finished. Hiring Michael was one of our best and favorite decisions we made for our wedding day!
