7 Car Pile Up

High quality – all live – music from every decade back to the 1950’s up to today. We strive to make each song excellent by focusing on the building of the number – our performances never fill empty, each song is unique and perfected. We also have some originals that are catchy and inspiring. Our “regular” fans request “Too Dang Happy” almost everywhere we go!

When it comes to wanting a professional group of artists – 7 Car Pile Up is your answer. Because we all have day jobs in the corporate world, you’ll find that we are on time, communicate professionally, coordinate well with each other and your event planner, and always conduct ourselves professionally. Once we get on stage, the “suits” come off and because we have a good time – the crowd has a good time. 
With our variety of instruments, and perfectly blended harmonies, the music is very high quality to even the most discerning of tastes. We never play to a “track”, all of our music is live, well rehearsed and clean for all audiences. Since we have both male and female leads, have the talent and technology to produce music in any key, we can cater to the desires of your event.
We are highly sought after for family friendly events like neighbor hood parties, weddings with lots of little ones in attendance or family oriented festivals and community events. Inviting the kiddos on stage to play various percussion instruments or sing some “ooh, la la la’s” is always a big hit with the younger crowd. A signature move of the bassist in the band is the throwing of the guitar pick. He always brings several to hand out to the kids who are interested in the music.
With 5 published original songs like “Too Dang Happy”, “Real Love”, “A Life in Harmony”, “To Keep the Eagle Flying Free” and “Still Waters” – 7 Car Pile Up is not just a cover band. We can make the CD’s available for purchase with a significant portion of the proceeds going to charity.
Speaking of charity – we often do fundraisers and charity events free of charge. We love what we do and if we can help others while doing it – it just makes sense.

The band consists of the following, all from Keller, Texas:
Rich Anderson: Leader, Lead Male vocals, harmony vocals, lead electric guitar, lead acoustic guitar, song writer
Jill Young: Lead Female vocalist, harmony vocals and occasional percussion
Tim Simmons: Lead Male vocals, harmony vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards, bass guitar
Max Stitzer: Bass electric guitar, bass acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin
Angie Wright: Commandant of vocal harmonies, percussion
Scott Gilchrist: Drummer

As a bonus: All of the band members are tobacco free, alcohol free and tattoo free and our only addiction is performing great live music and diet coke!

We bring all of our own equipment, complete with the entire front line and back line. Set up takes about an hour for a smaller gig, about 1.5 hours for a larger event. We have back ground effect lighting as well for out door events. We need 4 outlets to power the system ideally. At about 15 minutes to show time, we start our sound check. If you'd like us to sound check before the audience arrives, that can be arranged.
