Overview
Wood & Steel is primarily Kenny Karr as a solo act. Kenny is occasionally joined by his female singing partner for duo opportunities. Their music is a blend of "Country With A Roots-Rock Chaser." Originals are occasionally sprinkled into the mix.
"With strong male and female lead and harmony vocals, we are able to cover a wide range and variety of songs. Because of this, our song list is extensive enough to provide us the opportunity to play a variety of venues and events."

Wood and Steel provided an essential part of our Montana themed Dinner Club Night. He definitely set the mood for our event. Very professional, arrived on time and played wonderfully. Would definitely recommend.

Kenny was easy going and great to work with. We had him come play and sing for a birthday party. Flexible when it came to creating set list and easy to schedule the performance too.

Absolutely great band! Everyone who attended our event raved about band. Not only did they play a great variety of music, but were very accommodating to our needs as the host of the event. If you’re looking for a country band I highly recommend them.

Kenny played for our Christmas gathering. He was fantastic and easy to work with. He made our party so much more enjoyable.

I hired Wood & Steel to perform two dates at our retail locations for a special event. Although I unfortunately wasn't able to attend the performances, I received great feedback from both of the stores! Kenny was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We cannot thank you enough for playing at our company picnic! Your music was better than great and the mix of tunes was outstanding. By the end of the day, y'all were like family to us! My event was all about my parents, it was a close up and personal event, the band made this experience fun and engaging, my parents were moved by certain songs and we all had a great time, Kenny and the band made us feel comfortable and were on time and very good, they were very friendly,engaging and made great music together, the Female vocalist was great and added range to their music, when she sang "Strawberry Wine" I was moved!! Kenny was engaging and even had my Mother singing with them!! the lead guitarist was absolutely great and with the support of a strong drummer brought the music to life, the base guitar was laying it down!! with a strong performance, I WILL BE USING THIS BAND AGAIN!! on top of it they were affordable, THANKS GUY'S and "GAL" we loved you!!

About
Wood & Steel is primarily Kenny Karr as a one man band incorporating not only vocals and guitar, but adding in his custom foot-drum as well as various harmonicas. As with his solo performances, his male/female acoustic duo performs a mix of genres including Classic Rock, Roots- Rock, Blues, Country and Originals. Wood & Steel create their own arrangements of past and present music, infusing each song with a unique acoustic style.
Being a male/female acoustic duo, Wood & Steel has an extensive song list available with both male and female lead vocals to provide the right entertainment for the right venue.
Wood & Steel are available for Clubs/Restaurants, Corporate events/Private Parties, Weddings/Receptions, as well as Festivals/Conventions.
