Working with Herbert was amazing. He worked hard to add excitement and artistry to our video, asking try shots multiple times for the best outcome. Well my husband and I knew we wanted a video and raw footage, but couldn't afford to pay for it all. This team gave us an amazing price for all of our footage and a highlight video! Very happy with Herbert's service and the video! He accommodated our request to film an additional day of footage for the highlight video. He worked very well with our photographers from another company. He even offered to stay a little late to capture our cake cutting. He's very quick in responding to emails, which was very helpful. I can't say enough good things about Herbert with A Colored Mind. We were going back and forth on our decision to have a videographer for our wedding, and I can now say it was the best decision ever! Herbert captured the essence of our day so beautifully. From his professional and artistic ability to song selection everything was beyond compare. We cannot rave enough about Herbert, A Colored Mind. First off, we were very budget conscious and his pricing was pretty competitive. Of course, we did a lot of research by viewing his other videos and we really liked his style. He was extremely responsive and always answered his emails quickly. After my husband and I decided to hire Herbert, we went through the normal nitty-gritty, the contract and deposit.
Now, on to the day of, my husband and I are not exactly video professionals, so we definitely needed direction. Herbert made us feel comfortable throughout the entire day and instructed us without making us feel awkward at all.
The end result, a beautiful video, delivered to us in less than 7 weeks. We couldn't be happier!

You will not regret hiring this amazing man. He truly made my dreams come true with this amazing wedding video. He utilized the small space we were married in, and made it extremely romantic and breathtaking. He walked us through everything and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Excellent work at reasonable price. I made it right in choosing a videographer for my sister's wedding. It was very easy to deal with Herbert. He was a pro in his field. We haven't really talked or planned with him about how it should go, but he just executed his work smoothly on the day because he just knows what he is doing. He also came on time in the hotel for the preps which for me is a sign of professionalism. The outcome of the five minute video was very well done, he captured the best parts of the event and encapsulated it together so nicely and neatly.

Weddings are complicated, stressful, and expensive. There were a few things that I considered when finding a wedding videographer, one of course since we were already over budget was cost. After calling around and getting prices that were frankly outrageous, (2.5-4 thousand) I found Herbert from A Colored Mind on Yelp. His prices were more affordable, and he was willing to meet quickly and was very friendly and easy to work with. He also was very clear with expectations, and asked a lot of questions to find out what we were looking for in a video. In short Herbert was great with business side, which can be important when you have so many different aspects of a wedding that you are already juggling.

The service on the day:

Herbert was GREAT. He showed up early for the wedding, and was constantly working to get important shots, making sure that he captured the most important aspects and making sure that he worked with the DJ to get the most important aspects of the wedding audio such as vows and the ceremony, as well as coordinating well with the photographer. Having venders that coordinate well is very important in reducing stress on the day, and Herbert has that in spades.

The video: I can’t emphasize enough; this video was BEAUTIFUL. As I watched with my new wife, we relived the day, and it felt amazing to have a way to remember the day so clearly for years to come. My wife even cried a few tears because of how beautiful it was. We were blown away.

Summary: There are things that you will worry about in the wedding, food choices, music, table cloth length. They all seem important, but at the end of the day video is one of the only things you’ll have to remember one of the biggest days of your life. Don’t settle. Give Herbert a call, you won’t regret it.

I got married a couple months ago and I had a good luck to have Herbert as my videographer. He is very talented, artistic, and kind. It was fun to work with who is considerate of me and my husband. After wedding, he didn't mind editing my video to make it perfect. He went extra miles and I was very happy with. I've been recommended him to my friends. Price is affordable too. Anything related to wedding is overpriced but this isn't! However his talent is high level and he's equipped with nice cameras and drone.

Herbert is the most helpful and patient videographer I've ever met. he listens to what I want for my wedding video, made numerous revisions upon my requests and made my wedding video perfect, exactly how I wanted. at times I was even too embarrassed to ask him revise my video, but he still made it happen without any hesitation. He adds personal touches that you don't see very often from wedding videos from other videographers, and he goes extra miles to make sure the wedding video is delivered perfect. I even hired him for my friend's wedding as my wedding present to them, and they loved the video he made for them as well. Highly recommended!

I just uploaded our wedding video to Facebook and I received so many comments from family and friends saying the video was beautiful and made them tear up. We are so happy we booked Herbert/ AColoredMind as our videography vendor. The way that Herbert edited our video was incredible. He has a way of evoking so much emotion into the video. I felt that he told our love story and our wedding day completely in the 10 minutes of the video. He was quick to reply to all of my emails and texts. When the wedding was over and during the time that he was editing the footage, he was always in close contact with me, asking me to view what he had edited. He implemented all of my feedback without question. Another huge factor for me was that he has a drone! He was able to capture some amazing footage with it. I would highly recommend booking him!
