I hosted a Couples Wedding Shower and hired Captain Jim. I wanted entertainment for the shower and it was also nice that he could act as our DJ. His music selection was awesome! Our guests absolutely loved him and his assistant. They engaged the entire group and did some very cool magic tricks. I would highly recommend him for any event.

What a great addition to our end-of-year picnic for our 8th-grade class! Captain Jim was a joy to work with as we worked through the details of the event. He was able to accommodate us at the last minute as our event date changed. I had my doubts that 13-14-year-olds would be into balloons, but, boy, was I wrong. Our kids went nuts over the balloons. Captain Jim made sure every one of our attendees got their balloons in a timely manner. The kids were so thrilled to get their balloons and an epic sword fight broke out among our students! Other students had funny hats and flowers to enjoy! He was patient and kind to our rowdy group of students. We would highly recommend his services and plan on booking him again for future events!

We had Jim and his assistant Louisa at our Wizards and Wands (Harry Potter) themed event. Jim dressed as a wizard, added Harry Potter quotes and sayings to his act, and became a part of our theme, not just a magician act that follows our Hogwarts Feast. He had so many props including live animals. We had a group of 60 people aged 5-80 and all of us were entertained. We have already sent him another date to have him back out for another themed weekend. Thanks Jim for making this event incredible!

Captain Jim performed an amazing show of Illusions. We have booked others from the Charlotte & Raleigh area, but Captain Jim by far has been the best! Captain Jim came to my son's birthday party and made it all complete. We really expected the kids to be intrigued by the magic and illusions, but we were all especially pleased when the adults and everyone in attendance were taken in by Catain Jim's show. Captain Jim was professional and polite, he was prompt and courteous, and he was excellent at communicating with us (even though our event fell during holiday times).
Captain Jim had a professional set-up (this is not dollar store magic done by your uncle dressed as a clown - this is great, mind-boggling, top-notch illusions), and his illusions and show were done up well. Though our turn out was a bit smaller than we hoped, he put on a full production with music, jokes, balloon animals and magic. He was great with the kids and showed that he enjoyed performing for us as much as we enjoying watching.
I will be looking for the next excuse to book Captain Jim for anything else I can think of and if you have any kind of event for any age, I HIGHLY recommend contacting him. He is a class act and a talented performance artist that I highly recommend without any hesitation.

Captain Jim was very personable with everyone off all ages. He was great with the children. He involved all the children in the magic act, and also entertained the adults. We still have people in the neighborhood asking "How did he do that?". We also enjoyed his dejaying services. It was a blast to see everyone "trying" to line dance to the different songs. "His lovely assistant" did a great job face painting. The entire day was wonderful. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy.

WOW! Captain Jim is Fantastic! He came to one of my senior citizens resource luncheons in April 2013 and performed a great magical illusion routine! Jim totally captured their attention and the seniors loved every minute! I plan on having Captain Jim come to some of my other senior citizen sites and show off his talent to them as well! I recommend him for all ages!

Captain Jim has been performing since a young lad.
Since 2002 his childhood endeavors have been a full time career. He performs on average 350 shows a year up and down the east coast. He has won awards at Magic conventions, including 1st place for Best Stage Show at the Myrtle Beach Magic Convention. He receives tons of Rave Reviews from all who see his show resulting in multiple bookings from the same clients and most all other bookings by word of mouth.

We have our own sound system, mics, computers & lighting. We are very self sufficient. We can perform on ground level with your audience or on your stage or from our outdoor tents. We generally arrive 1.5 hrs prior to show time to set up.
