Great time had by all. It was an 80s themed party and the music videos added a great extra element.

Michael was great! Did a great job herding 14yr olds to and off the dance floor (when needed), and engaged them with activities. He was professional and easy to work with. I recommend AAA Dial a DJ!

The experience with this DJ was outstanding. With very little feedback from my husband and myself, Michael Angelo was as professional as could be. He watched the crowds response and played music accordingly. He went along with all of our karaoke requests and our guests loved him!! Would definitely use him again in the future as he helped to make this party fun!!

He was very easy to work with and handled all my requests appropriately. However, there were 2 technical difficulty issues. with our performances due to their wiring not working correctly. Everything else for the party was excellent. He also provided a screen for us to use for my video montage which worked out perfectly and was well received.

I hosted a retirement party for my Grandmother and it was a blast! The AAA Dial a DJ crew knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. From the entrance of the honoree, dinner time, praise breaks, and when it was time to dance, the music played matched every mood and moment perfectly. Not to mention, the crowd was a very mixed age group and so the DJ was very adaptable and played music that accommodated every generation. They were timely, professional, and the icing on the cake for our event. I could not see myself hiring any other DJ for my future events! Thank you for being worth every dime spent and for helping to make my Grandmother's retirement party as special as she is.

I'm so glad I found Mike. His communication was great throughout the whole process, from initial quote through the end of the event. The package rate was incredibly reasonable, especially given how independent Mike was. We gave him a table and access to power, and he took it from there. His set up had a great sound system, lights, and the projector with screen. The music videos he played along with the songs really helped fill the room and the range of music made the ever-changing visuals really fun. He had family with him helping out, so we were able to keep working on other things while they set up. He arrived when he said he would and was ready to go ahead of the party's start time. We sent a list of artists ahead of time, and he played a great mix of our suggestions and other music. This was a great experience and I would definitely reach out to him again.

We used AAA Dial a DJ for our resident Halloween Party at our apartment community. The projection screen was awesome and added a heightened dimension of fun for the Karaoke participants! We will definitely use him again at our next event.

A great time was had by all at the party. Music is an important thing at a party and there was plenty of classic rock played. The Hula Hoops made for some great pictures and videos to be uploaded.

I completely enjoyed the conversation prior to the party with Mike and his follow up. The wedding anniversary we were celebrating was a 30 year anniversary therefore there was a very mixed crowd. Ages range from 90 to 9 months. He Involved the crowd and got people on the dance floor. What a wonderful day!

We had a 40th Anniversary party for our professional society at Navy Pier. Michael provided everything we needed for our event---not just DJ services, but photo booth with props and photos to take home, lighting, slide show, and of course, the music. Good personality, fun to work with, takes direction well and understands the atmosphere you want to have.

This DJ listens to your needs and wants and tailors the music to suit the customer and type of event. I enjoyed every single song that he played. ALL of my guests are still talking about the music and video that he played!!! I had a BALL at my Hollywood glam birthday celebration and he is the only DJ that I will use from here on out. He truly made the event awesome!!

If you want to dance the night away, hear your favorite records from your childhood days, from the 60's, 70's, like the Miracles, Temptations, James Brown and play games, have contests, like the hula-hoop, musical chairs, etc. Mike is the one! I can go on and on of what this D.J. can do to make sure your night is special. Mike did my 25th wedding anniversary and I still have memories that I wish I could go back to that night! We had so much fun that night that I still laugh just remembering. He brought everything, and I do mean everything, photo booth, lights, bubbles, and a smoke machine which turned our night into a magical night of BIG FUN. We have great memories of that night as a conversational piece still to this day, a night we will never forget. But, there's only thing that I do regret, and that was when the night came to an end. You want it to go on and on. With Mike as your D.J., you definitely will get your money's worth!

classic motown, and current hits had everyone up and dancing. dj mike knows what the crowd wants and what gets them in party mode. he made the party an awesome success. guests called him the best dj ever and i agree. plus he is a great guy.

Mike the DJ did a professional and personal job at our son's wedding. He was able to play the music necessary that spanned 3 generations. His light show on stage and list of songs for Karaoke singers was great, too.

DJ Mike is a professional, engaging DJ. However, I had to ask him too many times to turn the volume down for this event, which is why I didn't rate this a 5star experience. I wish DJs would realize that their clients don't want to pay to get their ears hurt.

DJ Mike was everything that he said he would be and that he promised. He had music that blew everyone away! My husband loves 1970s R&B and he had every song I'd asked for him to play including songs from the 80s & all the current music. DJ Mike even had a video screen & had original music videos from the '70's! Big hit even with a mixed crowd! This was a surprise birthday party and the DJ did not disappoint me nor my husband. I 'm very happy & I would definitely hire him again. I feel like I know a good DJ finally and they make me feel good.

Book AAA Dial A DJ with DJ Mike!! You won’t regret it! Hiring DJ Mike for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. He is very reliable and good at what he does. He is also very sweet and understanding. I missed my deadline and sent him my song lists super late (I STRONGLY advise not making the same mistake I did) because things got so hectic nearing the wedding date. However, he still took my list and spent as much time he had left to prepare for the wedding. There were a couple not-so-smooth moments, but it was completely due to my sending him the list too late. So I highly recommend getting the list to him with plenty of time to iron out the kinks before the big day. And not only is DJ Mike reliable and a delight to work with, but his rates are also extremely reasonable. The saying “you get what you pay for” does not apply in this case because I feel as though I got way more than for what I paid. His DJ’ing, the beautiful photo booth and the big projection screen were all spectacular! We all had sooo much fun!! And at the end of the day, that’s what you want from your party, for everyone to have a great time.

I worked with Mike to provide my mother with one of the most elegant 1920s themed retirement party. Mike and his crew showed up on time for set up, were very professional and friendly, and were flexible to last minute schedule changes. My mother's event was a success, and I'm sure he will get more bookings from this party. We didn't need a band (although we had one) because Mike can do it ALL!!! The music videos playing in the background was a fantastic touch.

I thought 4 hours of photo booth would be too long. Mike convinced me the photo booth is always a crowd pleaser, and he was right. Everyone loved it. He's got some of the best props ever. I received a flash drive with all the pictures the photo booth took for the entire night. Now my mom will have all those pictures in a scrapbook to keep and remember the night.

Mike was also able to effortlessly mix 1920s themed music with the 1960/1970s music my mother loves and the current day stepping music all the younger people enjoy. The mixes were never forced or off. We got to do it all - - Line dancing, Chicago stepping, Ballroom dances, and the Charleston. He’s a rare talent.

I booked AAA Dial a DJ for both the photo book and karaoke DJ services for a wedding party at a home. DJ Mike and his assistants were on time and professional. My guests absolutely loved the photo booth and all the fun props, and I received a flash drive with all of the photo booth pics. DJ Mike was a responsive karaoke and regular DJ who came prepared with songs that I submitted before the event and with the ability to fulfill song requests from song books at the event. He kept the music and mood flowing and played a wide range of music (Motown, Old School R&B, Americana, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and even songs from the Frozen soundtrack for kiddie singers) and didn't impose his song choices, or unnecessary talking or volume on us. I had a great experience and would recommend him for your event!!

Our large choral group was completely surprised by how much fun a karaoke evening is. DJ Mike was sensitive to the initially bashful group, encouraging us, little by little, to get on up and let 'er go. I hired DJ Mike to do a corporate event for us this past August 19th at the Fairmont hotel...it was perfect! I live in Seattle and not knowing the Chicago area, was unsure of who to hire, but once I spoke with Mike, I knew I made the right choice. Fantastic music was played during the cocktail hour and we had the photo booth up an running as an ice-breaker for the crowd.

I cannot begin to describe how AMAZING DJ Mike made our company holiday party! From the moment he answered the phone, his charisma and excitement was contagious. He not only answered all my questions and customized a service exactly to my needs on very short notice, he also personally DJed the event and ensured it was a night to be remembered! You can karaoke to any song your little heart desires, and DJ Mike will make you feel like a rock star. He provided everything we wanted and more, and my only regret is that we only booked him for 3 hours (not nearly enough time!!!) If you're looking for a a great DJ, give DJ Mike a call!

Mike promised a fabulous time and he sure delivered! My wedding guests and even the venue staff commented that he was the best wedding dj they have ever seen. It meant a lot coming from my guests, but the venue staff, who host weddings every weekend, said that he was the best! My guests loved the camera on the dance floor so that the people in the back of the venue could even see our first dance. I hired Dial A Dj (specifically Mike) to both DJ and host the karaoke room at the Holiday party my company had last Friday, December 21rst. He put on an amazing show and everyone had a great time. He was early to set up and make sure everything worked correctly and then did an great job once the party was started. I would recommend him for any event big or small.
