As a dynamic saxophonist and performer, Aaron Watson brings vibrant energy and a distinctive sound to every stage he graces. His passion for music extends beyond performance, as he is also a committed band manager, ensuring every detail aligns perfectly for each show. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, he has honed his skills not only as a musician but also as an educator, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of talent. His dual roles allow him to balance the thrill of live performances with the rewarding challenge of teaching. Together, these facets of his career create a fulfilling musical journey.

Starting with Tallahassee Nights Live in high school, Aaron's musical journey led him to Florida A&M University for a bachelor's degree in jazz studies. Currently pursuing a master's in arts administration at Florida State University, Aaron combines his musical expertise with insights into the business of music.

As a band manager and saxophonist for one of the most dynamic bands in North Florida, Pharaohs Of Funk, Aaron has had the opportunity to hone his skills as an artist. Collaborating with icons like Fred Wesley and George Clinton, Aaron pushes genre boundaries while also inspiring students through music education. He teaches at Amos P. Godby High School, offering saxophone lessons. Aaron is an endorsed artist with Arnold Montgomery Mouthpieces, taking his music as far as Cuba, Barbados, and Europe.

The Tallahassee Horns is a horn section, led by Kirk Gavin and Aaron Watson. The duo has spent over a decade traveling the U.S. performing with a number of bands. Both artists have worked with legends like Fred Wesley, George Clinton, Ricky Dillard, and Bobby Watson to name a few. As the Tallahassee Horns prepare for their debut album they lead the dynamic funk band, "Pharaohs Of Funk", around the southeast with a show and experience that fills every room they walk into. Audiences are astounded at their ability to sing and play horns with such electrifying energy. Bringing an experience like no other, Pho-Funk provides a musical atmosphere where people come together to be free in the heart, mind, and spirit. We perform all over the south region, connecting audiences through music and harmony.
