Abbit The Average

Out of the many many events I’ve thrown over the years, this entertainer was by far the best. His antics saved my party in my ways then one. His humor was tailored carefully for each guest. His ability to read the room is uncanny!

I hosted Parisian themed party for the assisted living community that I work for, and Mr Abbitt was the traditional mime that tied it all together.
He was wonderful,my residents were totally hooked on him from start to finish, he was funny, he was creative , he was charming and totally professional. very easy going person fun to work with I would without a doubt hire him over and over again and I would recommend that you do too. My event turned out to be a huge success and would not have been so without his help if I could get more than five stars I absolutely would

Abbit was entertaing and so much fun! He provided comedy and entertainment at our large family event with over 100 people of all ages. He had us in stitches with his humor as well as his magic. I would highly recommend him.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hands down the only entertainer you need for any type of occasion and any type of crowd. He single or no handedly entertained all the kids, teens, adults and elders at my daugthers birthday party! He drove to the venue a day ahead just to make sure to be there on time and was also very courteous to accomodate to the schedule change of our event due to heavy rain. As expected, this gentleman is WAY ABOVE "Average" as he calls himself. He will make you laugh the very moment you book him (right? Sir Cumference?) lol. He completely deserves all his badges in the Magicians Communities. My wife and I are so lucky to have found him. He brought so much more than what we put on the table. Thank you Sir Average!

Abbit the Average, was certainly more than "average".
He was able to tailor the performance such that all of our clients participated with great joy! Regardless of their physical and cognitive challenges, resulting from blindness, deafness, quadriplegia and mutism...Abbit the Average was able to engage them all!

I love his interaction with all the kids and everyone kept laughing throughout the show!

Had Abbit DEFINITELY MORE THAN AVERAGE for Christmas Eve, where we had a mixture of children ages, along with a mixture of adults. There wasn't a face in the room with out a smile or giggle while Abbot entertained. He spends a lot of effort and thought on set up, just to be sure he will do his best. He was Super fun! We all were entertained and enjoyed his show. It was a great evening!

This entertainer brought smiles to all of our residents faces and ended off our carnival with a bang! He kept our residents engaged and never became boring. If he keeps this up, he will have to change his name to more than average.

Professional, on-time, prepared, funny, magical, corny, appropriate, helpful...just an all-around super entertainer! Of particular note...he had about 50 kids from 2-12 yr old sitting in a space for an hour watching and interacting with his show. His "crowd control" was incredible. Abbit the Average was anything but Average! He kept all the children entertained with his funny jokes, juggling, illusions, and magic tricks. Showed up 40 minutes early and was totally kind to everyone at the school. Would absolutely love for him to come back.

Abbit the Average, eh? If average means keeping a group of about 40 second graders entertained for a solid one-hour performance, and then making balloon animals for about two hours after, then yes he was Average. Jeff made my daughter's eight birthday very memorable; his blend of comedy and magic was very high-caliber. Parents and kids alike were laughing, being amazed, and then laughing some more. I couldn't have asked for more; Jeff's stage presence transformed my backyard into a casual yet professional venue. I am so happy that I found Abbit the Average on Gig Salad!

He was very flexible and helpful in suggesting performing
ideas. When he arrived he kept our kids and adults laughing while they waited in line. He also entertained them with a wonderful sitdown show. Super sweet and interactive with everyone. I would recommend him to my friends.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. But, of my 4 performers, Abbit The Average was the biggest hit, By Far, this according to my guests! The was a big house party for adults and they all loved him. Loved the 1:1 fun. Made the party! Also, he was smart, attentive and helped me with ensuring the party flowed corrected. Wasn't part of the deal, but he just offered his "Party" expertise. Will, for sure, use him. I highly recommend Abbit The Average.

While comedy and juggling was in the routine, I had anticipated more illusions within the hour that Abbit the Average performed for us. Overall the crowd was pleased, but as the contractor, I was left a little disappointed.

He arrived as Austin Powers and delivered a hilarious one hour show for my husband’s 60th birthday. Everyone had a blast with his humor and with the audience participation. I would highly recommend him for your next party!

I know he has the word "Average" in his name, but there is nothing "Average" about his show. We had wanted a variety type act which Abbit did for us. Abbit the Average is anything but average! We booked him last minute for our Annual Fundraising Gala. We were looking for a roaming Mime to provide entertainment, and, boy oh boy, did Abbit fit the Bill!

He incredibly easy to work with from an event planner's standpoint. Understanding all of the last minute things that go into making a successful Gala happen, he sent me an simple, straight to the point email with 6 easy questions to answer. After that, he just promptly showed up the evening of the event and got to work right away!

Our guests fell in love with him quickly! His act is creative, silly and totally unique. He played the venue and crowd perfectly. Several of our guests have already asked about him for their future parties!

Abbit the Average was great. We contacted Gigsalad last minute and Abbit was incredibly accommodating for probably an atypical gathering. He was on time, professional, funny, and fun. Thank you Abbit for helping us end 2016 with laughter! Greatest gift!

We had "Abbit the Average" come to our French themed birthday party for our six year old girl and he was anything but average! He kept the whole crowd entertained for over an hour, with a suitcase full of fun bits and tricks. He was able to improvise hilarity on the spot and had a child-like way about him that was really fun. We're lucky to live in an area where you can get a remarkable entertainer at a price that works for a kids birthday party. Highly recommend!!!

Abbit the Average is anything but average as he provides exceptionally hilarious entertainment. Hired to be a strolling magician/comic he amused and entertained for hours on end (to a usually stolid audience). We were grateful for his detailed communication prior to our event and prompt arrival. Would recommend to all and would hire again.

Abbit was Great, not Average. A wonderfully entertaining act during our 3 hour corporate/family event which had 50 kids and 50 adults. Innovative, funny, spontaneous and classy. Highly recommend.

Every year we hire entertainment for our Scout event. But this year took the cake. Abbitt the Average is anything but. Adults are just as entertained if not more then the boys. If you don't want to be disappointed, Abbitt the Average is the man for the job!!!

Abbit the Average did a great show for our PTA Mother and Son event. The boys really enjoyed the show. He was easy and flexible even though our event had an unexpected delay. I would use him again for another performance at our school.

Abbit performed at my company holiday party and he was great! Part of what made his act so great was that he doesn't take himself too seriously - he makes you feel comfortable to laugh with him, not at him. He joins the party and becomes the life of it, and did a great job of getting everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. I would definitely recommend him for any kind of event (okay, almost any kind. Maybe not a bachelorette party - the bride-to-be might get the wrong idea and it could get awkward real fast...).

We had our annual Christmas party last night. It was a French themed "Christmas in Paris". We hired Jeff Abbitt as our mime. Unfortunately for the mime, he was "murdered" at our party by one of our guests. This means he had to lie on the floor for more than 45 minutes as Inspector Clouseau interrogated our guests in an attempt to find out who had murdered him. So, my husband and I have to say that we not only enjoyed Mr. Abbitt's performance with our guests in the early evening as he entertained our guests with games, antics, tricks and lots of laughs, he also endured being the victim of a crime. He was a good sport and willing to do what was needed in order to play out the murder mystery. Our guests truly enjoyed the party, in part because of our mime's wonderful performance. Thank you, Jeff, for your whimsy and fun. It was an unforgettable event.

Abbit the Average was a great addition to our annual Halloween Party. He is a consummate professional and gifted entertainer. We all enjoyed his presence, he was the hit of the party!

Abbit worked our Blue and Gold Banquet for our cub scouts. We had about 250 people with a good mix of children and adults. Abbit was perfect for all ages. He did roaming magic while everyone mingled and ate and then did a stage show which left us all in stitches! I had so many people asking me for his contact info and how I found him after the event.

He was on time, very professional, setup was great and very personable. I would definitely recommend Abbit for any event, he is much more than Average!

Our Rotary Club hired Jeff for 5 performances for 1,000 children in 2 Santa Ana schools, right before Christmas. The adults laughed as hard as the kids and of course - gasped and 'awe'd' at the magic. Jeff was just fantastic with the children - played along with them, included them in the show both on-stage and off-stage - and his closing number had us all cheering! We are keeping our fingers crossed that Jeff's available again next year!

Had the pleasure of Jeff doing his things aboard the Adventure Hornblower cruise event in August for the Destroyer USS ORLECK DD 886 Association Reunion Group. He is really talented and was the right formula for a leisurely cruise to 32nd Street Naval Base to view the end of the Navy day sights and sounds. During dinner Jeff professionally plied his way from table to table bringing fun and special recognition to the folks. Then he would have them pose for a picture and at the last second make a hilarious face that will make the photo a treasure from their special gathering. Jeff is also a gentleman. A fine man! He "Jeff the GR8" in our book!

Jeff Abbit was totally fun and personalized our evening with the one being celebrated. His gig was always moving into the next clever, fun magic, tricks, juggling and banter. I would recommend him and rate him a 10 on a 1-10 scale.

I hired Abbit The Average for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I have received positive reviews from the kids - he was funny and original. Jeff was easy to work with, professional at all times, and was very easy-going and just went with the flow of the day. I will definitely hire him again!

We hired Jeff on short notice for a large school event. He completely met our needs and worked with our flucuating timing adjustments and was very professional. More important, our whole group loved him and the kids talked about him well after he left. Abbit the Average was Awesome!

Abbit, did a great job engaging and entertaining our seniors. There was a crowd of 12 with 1055 years between them, you can figure they have seen it all; but Abbit was able to pull the rabbit out of the hat. It was a funny and delightful show and everyone enjoyed the entertainment.

Needed a walk around entertainer for a corporate event we did. I had heard about this guy from someone who saw him at a big opening for Irvine Center. HISTERICAL! He is a classic, kind of a vaudeville - magic entertainer! We planned this event for 6 months, and all the guests talked about was this guy, (the one thing which took no planning on our part). Funny and CLEAN! -- (We had a lot of clients families there). Would highly recommend him! the guy was about 1/2 of our projected budget for this.
