My team and I had the privilege of contracting Abby La Mexicana for the first ever Downtown Kitchener Dia de Muertos event.
Abby demonstrated excellent communication and professionalism leading up to the event. She inquired about details that would affect her performance with good time prior to the event, was open minded and flexible with the potential format of the event, and showed a genuine sense of interest in the event itself.
On the day of the event, Abby was very punctual and was set up and ready to begin at the time previously established.
As for her performance… We had Abby scheduled for one hour, and that hour, was absolutely incredible! With this having been the first of a potential annual event in Downtown Kitchener, our team felt the pressure of leaving a positive lasting impression on the public, and as soon as Abby’s music began to play, we knew that everything was going to be excellent.
Apart from being a very talented vocalist, Abby’s showmanship was far beyond our expectations. Abby arrived in Dia de Muerto (Catrina) attire, sang, danced, interacted with the audience, engaged with the audience in English and Spanish, and created an overall inclusive and welcoming environment; At one point, Abby began a conga-type line, and I witnessed individuals who I personally know as being quite timid, singing and dancing along.
Needless to say, we most definitely recommend Abby for any event that you may be hosting. We will certainly be keeping Abby in mind for future event and feel absolutely proud to say that she was the first performer of our first ever Dia de Muertos event. 10/10.

Abby brought that authentic feel to our Mexican fiesta. She wore a beautiful costume w accessories which she shared with the group for some great photos. She brought the party to life by engaging with everyone and pulling them out of there seat to dance and sing w her. Everyone had a great time. I hired Abby to perform at Los Cabos grill in Whitby on the night I asked for my girlfriends hand in marriage. She did an amazing job and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. She played a variety of romantic songs and really set the mood. She did a great intro to cue me up to get down on one knee. Her assistant even took pictures and she made a great engagement video for us. Thanks Abby! It worked out beautifully!!!

About
Abby La Mexicana, a professional singer originally from México with 20 years of musical experience. Her concerts have taken place in México, the USA and South America.
Throughout her career, Abby has won Del Sol de Oro award, among others and has performed renowned presentation at the prestigious Juarez theatre to give tribute to the composer José Alfredo Jiménez, besides, highlighting the last tribute in life to José José. As well as being the tequila image of the “Voices of Corralejo” program; not to be left behind her presentation at Televisa Bajío, radio stations, cultural, business and private events up to the present time.
Now in Canada, Abby La Mexicana has brought in her voice bathe real Mexican essence of music to delight us her warm and artistic performance.
