We just had Shawn bartend at a pre-wedding event and he as wonderful. So self-reliant and prepared and the guests loved him. He made wonderful drinks and was a joy to work with from beginning to end.

Personable and professional! The margarita bar was a huge hit with all guests and most commented that Shawn was the BEST! He was knowledgeable about the tequilas offered and the drinks were Great. Very well organized. Highly recommend

I am highly motivated and results-driven business owner/professional with extensive experience in the hospitality field. With a strong passion for bartending, event planning and strategic thinking, I have successfully facilitated and supported the overall strategic planning process for various events.
Shawn's has been the Owner and Event Director of Above the Bar Co in Denver, Colorado since 2022.
I have held the position of Beverage Director at establishments as Bar Dough, Sarto's, Comida and El Diablo. As well as bartending for over 20 yrs. creating menus and speciality cocktails.
I have honed my skills through certifications, including being Level 2 Wine & Spirits Certified from the Napa Valley Wine Academy and completing BarSmarts Advanced training by Pernod Ricard USA.
I have been published in Wine Enthusiast nationally as well as DiningOut locally and am sure I can help make your event as memorable as possible!
