Acme Jazz Garage, together since 2012, plays jazz (funky, straightahead, traditional, bebop, smooth, fusion), blues, Latin jazz and pop/rock instrumentals. Core lineup: guitar/keys/bass/drums. Can add sax, trumpet or trombone. We also work as a trio.
Acme has played major fests and venues, including the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Gasparilla Music Festival (twice), WMNF Tropical Heatwave, The Palladium (St. Pete); HCC Mainstage Theater, Sparkman Wharf, Skipper's, Ella's, The Independent (Tampa).
From Mar 2014-Mar 2020, we played every Thursday & Friday night at Timpano in Hyde Park Village (Tampa).
Our "Sharkskin" album (2021) & our 2016 debut CD aired on jazz radio stations across the US.

Long-running Tampa Bay area band Acme Jazz Garage plays a wide variety of instrumental jazz. We’re generally available as a trio, quartet or quintet — variously with bass, guitar, piano, sax and drums. We’re open to gigs anywhere, as long as the $ and schedule works for us and the client.
