Adam is truly a unicorn among a myriad of musicians for hire! He has tremendous natural ability as well as a relentless work ethic that is peerless among the other session guys in this area. In addition to this, he possesses the versatility to learn pretty much any style of music in a very quick time frame. To be honest, I like this guy so much that I was reluctant to write this review because I didn't want anyone else taking him away from my band, haha! I've been working with Adam Soucy for the past year, and I've been blown away by his professionalism, and outstanding performance as a drummer and percussionist. Creative, intuitive, and hard working, watching Adam as both a session musician, and performer, on my projects was extremely rewarding and refreshing. Musician of 15 years, recently obtained a Bachelor's of Music Business from UMass Lowell. Both national and international touring experience. Countless hours logged in studio sessions. Primarily a drum set player, years of experience on a number of auxiliary, hand, orchestral and melodic percussion instruments, countless hours of experience on cajón. Proficient in nearly all genres of music, including pop, rock, jazz, country, progressive, singer-songwriter, post-hardcore, folk, funk and R&B.

I am perfectly comfortable and often prefer bringing my own setup. I do like to know what the staging situation will look like as soon as possible, just so that I can figure out exactly what I need to bring well in advance. I do have my own drum mics and cables, but a PA and (if possible) monitoring system will need to be provided by you or the venue.
