Miss Claira Bell

Twelve hours before Miss Claira Bell was to perform at my daughter’s 4th birthday, I receive a message from her telling me that she can no longer fulfill her contract!! 12 hours before an 11 am event on a Sunday! She said she didn’t feel “safe” performing after reading a message from me where I question her intention to show up or know what was expected since I hadn’t spoken to her despite my requests to call me because the number she provided on GigSalad inoperable. I booked her services approximately four weeks prior to event and had requested she call me to go over details. I provided my number twice maybe three times and once in words (e.g. five five five) because I thought numbers were being blocked and that’s the reason she was not calling me. She once asked me to call her but only provided a 9 digit number. What kind of person cancels a performance 12 hours prior? And cancels on a child? Miss Claira Bell is the least professional vendor I’ve ever dealt with. Proceed with caution or safer yet, book someone else.

Miss Claira Bell was great! She accommodated whatever I asked of her and even stayed past the arranged time, for additional fee of course, since the event was going well. My only issue was her not having structured activities and maybe that was a miscommunication on my part. I did tell her that her time at the event was surrounded on her and I wanted her to do more in the water than just swim around with the kids. I asked if she had any games to play beforehand and mentioned during the event I wanted more structured games. I did have to take the lead on this during the event. Otherwise, Miss Claira Bell was great. I would communicate more so my clear expectations were met and I would 100% have her back if we did this event again. Thank you!

All it takes is one smile to tell you how great of a job you've made your little girls' birthday. My daughter was the happiest and surprised I've ever seen. Parents and even older kids at the party thought it was pretty cool to come to a pool party in November (indoor) only to find a mermaid already swimming in the pool. School parents and family all talked about how an amazing time there kids and themselves had watching Miss Claire interact and make balloons for the kids. I've already had people ask for her information. Everything was just perfect. Thank you Miss Claire!
