Marcela at a very young age found her voice as an artist at the Anchieta Music & Dance Company in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2008 Marcela took hold of an opportunity to come to Florida, United States and start a new life. With a latin, folkloric, ballet and contemporary background started off performing at events such as: Miami Salsa Congress, Orlando Salsa Congress, New York Salsa Congress, and was part of musical productions: A Chorus Line, Hair and Chicago. Marcela has also taken up classes in the aerial arts at Florida Circus School where she started her solo career as a circus performer. She was also a member of TOC Project, Body & Soul dance company as a soloist. As a member of Flying Arrow Productions, she has been seen repeatedly at Mansion Nightclub, as well as in high profile events for clients like Dr. Pepper, Miami Music Week, and even in a Pit Bull concert. Marcela has also done Aerial/dance workshops and shows, presenting her own work at festivals, such as: Dance4Life fest in Jamaica, Choreographer’s Ball in Miami, and Oberlin College in Ohio. Currently, Marcela is a student at the Martha graham Dance School, in New York. She has been working for many corporation events such as the Super Bowl (as an aerialist), Dance productions: Table of silence (Buglisi Dance Theater), Aerial Artistry, Innovative Theater Awards ceremony, and showing her own choreography at Galapagos Art Space, Cabaret Under the bridge, and other dance concerts around the city. Dancing is not only her passion, but also the way she expresses her ideas and feelings.

For an aerial performance, the space of the event needs to have a minimum of a15ft ceiling, and a beam for the rigging.

If there is no beam, a aerial rigging will be needed.
