We are a professional band and show, performing adult contemporary music. We play to almost any crowd on the spot, including singing in multiple languages. Having performed behind independent recording artists, we provide the same top quality sound and show as the artists we cover. From Whitney Houston and Barbra Streisand to Pharrell Williams to the Beatles to Temptations to Earth Wind and Fire, opening for major music acts to small private birthday parties and everywhere in between, we will provide the best experience possible for you and your guests.

Akathisisus is a 9 member professional band from Lanham, Maryland, whose core members have been working together since 1990 performing Adult Contemporary music. Over the years we have played concerts up and down the East Coast for private and corporate functions, for The Tuskegee Airmen, Sorority/Fraternity Functions, and backing recording artist. In 2001 we moved to Chandler, Arizona, performing at El Pedregal at the Boulders, Phoenix Convention Center, Arizona and Talking Stick casinos, the Maricopa County and the Arizona State Fairs (phone number hidden)5, just to name a few.
We are self contained when it comes sound. We do ask that there be a large enough area where our front line can perform.
