We had Alan come to do some mentalist magic for a mix of adults and children for a Halloween party we had at our home. The show was not believable and lacked any sort of cohesion. Seemed like he was just coming up with tricks on the spot. Card tricks were good but hypnotism did not work and was embarrassing to watch my guests have to pretend they were hypnotized, when in reality none of it worked. He even told all the kids that the mentalist tricks were pretend and that there was no real magic to any of it. Half way through the show, he lost the audience who started to walk away out of disinterest. Very disappointed. I even told him the next day that I wasn’t impressed by the show and his response was ‘ok’. No offer to refund any $$ or an apology.
