Once you choose the right talent for your project they arrive on set and do a fantastic job and then our agency will invoice you for payment for our talent time plus GST. The agreed rate of pay will be agreed upon before actor is selected for the project. Union and non union talent are available to work on your sets, just reach out to us.

Debra began performing as a child at an early age of 5 as a singer and tap dancer at local events. Her family then moved to Calgary where the acting bug didn't hit her again until she was about 16. That’s when she quit high school and moved out on her own with her best friend.

After spending time getting her initial training in the arts by taking any and all acting classes offered in the Calgary area Debra found herself to be very successful at local auditions and began being hired for numerous local commercials, movies, documentaries, training videos, and local theatre productions.

Debra knows first-hand how hard it is to break into the industry and knows the roads to take to get there. Some of her credits include work on many documentaries, numerous commercials, movies of the week, feature films, narrations, theatre, and award winning voice overs. While having had roles in theatre and TV productions, etc. her favorite roles are in film, commercials, and voice overs.

Debra also known to promote herself under the name Deborah Kurtz founded Alberta Talent Management in late May of 2012 and her talent agency has quickly become a valuable asset to the film industry in Alberta particularly Calgary. Since becoming one of the most passionate Talent Agents in Calgary she has found herself being hired as Casting Director on local projects. Her agency currently represents some of the most sought after talent in Alberta Canada as well as New York, and Los Angeles CA. USA.

Among her most recent accomplishments In 2016 Debra played the supporting recurring Lead role of the Mother in Webseries “She’s Back In My life”. In 2015 Debra became “Coach Mama” The Face of The West Public Personality for Dr. Oekter Casa Di Mama Pizza. 2014 Debra wrote a short film called When Crows Fly that is slated to be produced by Debra in summer 2017. Debra played the role of Nicole the bagel Girl in short film “444” released in 2015 and the film won the Award of Merit at (link hidden) January 2016. In 2013, Debra proudly carried the feature film in the Lead role of Aunt Edna in Feature Film Ghost Goggles slated to be released worldwide in late 2017.

Debra was also asked to be Casting Director on a short film titled “444” and subsequently she was asked if she would take on the role of Location Manager as well as her other official roles Debra wasted no time in saying YES adding to her responsibilities on the project.

Her Casting Director credits include, The Takeaway Feature Film 2014, Extraordinary Joe feature film 2014, Something Wonderful Short film in post-production 2015, When Crows Fly Short Film sizzle reel in pre-production 2015, 444 Short Film released 2015, held Producer and Casting Director credits on Gypsy Music Video 2015 in post-production.

She is also working closely with her client author, Jeff Gregory to sell the rights to his screenplay Templar Odyssey for adaptation to feature film or mini-series. Debra has made her mark in this industry by saying “yes” as opportunities have come her way and we expect to see her name on many short films and feature films in the coming years in many roles as actress, casting director, and producer.
