Alec Hall

Alec Hall was born in New Hampshire and has since moved to Alabama, New Mexico, and won Florida's Funniest Comedian when living out there. He attributes his frequent moves during childhood as a contributing factor for his desire to be funny and the development of his humor. He first took an interest in stand up comedy after seeing a comedian on comedy central's thirty minute special at the age of 16 and was confident he could write comedy at that level. He raised the bar on the level of material he aspired to write after being influenced by comics such as Demetri Martin, Mitch Hedberg, and George Carlin. The first time he ever performed was in a high school talent show in front of 1,000 of his peers, a gutsy move that required swallowing a lot of doubt. The performance was a great success and he began to perform regularly throughout Tallahassee during his time at FSU. After College he got his foot further in the business by opening for talent and eventually began getting his own gigs, traveling all over Florida. Comedy is his passion and he believes he can be the best in the world at what he does in due time. He takes the fact that someone is paying to see him very seriously and tries to make every performance better than the last. He now resides in Los Angeles to give his comedy the platform it deserves.
