I specialize performing top 40 pop songs in a soothing and groovy Bossa Nova style. An hour before music starts I walk through the door (or tent flap) and seek out the event planner to confirm set times and lengths as well as any other key information. I setup my PA system, unless there's already one there, plug in my guitar and microphone and conduct a brief soundcheck by playing a for about 2 minutes to make sure the sound is right for the room. Then I'm offstage and you won't hear a sound from me till it's time to start.

You determine when music starts and stops or leave that up to me as well. 2-3 sets ranging from 40min to 1 hour each are most common. Once a set begins you can expect 40 mins- I hour of uninterrupted background bliss--song after song with a subtly engaging drive at just the right volume for relaxed conversion will have your ambience simmering and your clients, friends or family bubbling.
