Alexander Morgan is a magician... Let's be real, we all know it's just me writing about myself in the third person. Long story short, I don't pull rabbits out of hats, I don't do balloon animals, and I don't perform at kids' birthday parties. What I do is crack jokes with my audience, make sure that anyone who helps out knows that they are the star of the show, and amaze the person reading this by telling them that their first-grade teacher's name was Ms. Carlyle (I doubt I got that last part right, but if I did, you've got to hand it to me!).
If I sound like the magician for you, drop me a line and we'll be in touch about how I can help make your event an unforgettable one!

Whether it be a small business’ annual Holiday party for 50 people, a wedding reception for 500 people, or even a sold-out show for 6,015 people at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Alexander has a comedic show that is practically tailor-fit for every venue.
For social environments in which guests will be mingling (parties, receptions, galas, etc.), throughout the course of the event, Alexander will approach groups of eventgoers and intrigue each and every one of them with magic (and maybe some mind reading, too!) with playing cards, coins, pens, and even borrowed objects such as cell phones and business cards, too!
For environments featuring a seated meal and/or after-dinner entertainment (dinners/dinner parties, award shows, etc.), Alexander will perform his parlor show. While this show does feature moments of what some may claim to be "magic tricks" or "illusions," a majority of this performance (roughly 80%) is a mentalism/"mind-reading" show. To keep the surprise, we can't tell you what takes place in this show, but an excerpt can be seen under the "videos" tab (watch "Mentalism with Playing Cards" to see what can be expected in the parlor show).
*This show can range from 10 minutes long to 1 hour long.
Lastly, for environments in which Alexander will be performing on a stage (colleges/universities, cruise ships, conventions, etc.), guests will witness Alexander break the laws of physics, plant thoughts in their heads, and even reveal predictions posted to his social media months ahead of the performance. Is it a magic show? is it a mentalism show? That's up to you to decide!
*This show can range from 20 minutes long to 1 hour long.
Born & raised in northern New Jersey, Alexander (you can call him Alex) has been performing the art of magic ever since he received a Lance Burton Magic Set for his 4th birthday. Amazed by the reactions he got from his performances, Alexander decided when he was 15 that it was time to expand his knowledge of magic and attended the prestigious Tannen's Magic Camp in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania for two summers.
While at Tannen's, Alexander learned various performance topics such as stand-up comedy from Harrison Greenbaum (finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing and one of the stars of the hit Broadway shows, "The Illusionists" & "The Unbelievables"), parlor magic from Derek Hughes (finalist on season 10 of NBC's "America's Got Talent!"), acting from Michael Carbonaro (host/star of TruTV's "The Carbonaro Effect"), and business management & marketing from Kostya Kimlat ("Fooler" on the CW's "Penn & Teller: Fool Us"). Along with education from Tannen's Magic Camp, Alexander has also received additional education in sleight of hand from Bill Wisch: the protege of the late Tony Slydini, a revolutionary magician who had numerous appearances on Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett's late-night talk shows.
Along with magic, Alexander is also a mentalist who has had the chance to audition on NBC's "America's Got Talent!" and perform in some of America's finest theaters and PACs. What interests Alexander about mentalism is the fact that not much has changed since mentalism's mainstream popularity spike in the Victorian Era. Due to mentalism's primarily plain history, Alexander enjoys updating/modernizing pieces of mentalism from the days of yesteryear.
*Important Notes*
Please note that I am NOT a children’s/family entertainer. While there is nothing inappropriate about my performances, I do not perform for children being that my magic is too complex for younger crowds to comprehend. However, my performances are perfectly suitable for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah crowd (12-13 years and older).
