Alex did an incredible job at our wedding- he played all of the songs we requested and our guests had an amazing time! Months later, everyone is still talking about how fun the DJ was. He did a great job mixing some old school classics with some modern hits. We would highly recommend Alex for all events!

Alex was great. Professional. Everything went well. We were really happy with him and would recommend him. He provided the setup for inside the event space (including spare mics for speeches), outside where we held the ceremony, and cocktail hour in a separate area nearby.
Towards the end of the night all our guests had left and my wife and I went back into the event space to tip Alex and start breaking down tables and cleaning up. He proactively asked if we had any song requests so he played our unofficial wedding song for just the two of us to dance to. It was a really nice end to the night and we were really glad he was our DJ.

We had a great experience with Alex. He had the dance floor filled all night long. Before the wedding we gave him a list of about 10 "must play" songs and he took it from there with deciding what to play. He nailed it. The transitions between songs were mixed really nicely and we liked how he put a more "dancy" or "techno-y" twist on some of the songs. He was also really responsive when the bride and I had song requests during the night. He mixed them in really quickly. It made the whole evening feel like we were at a club with a legitimate DJ and not with someone who just played a set playlist for the whole time.
I also appreciated how he found a perfect impromptu song for our pinata at the end of the night and let one of the groomsman use the mic to give instructions.
A guest texted me a day after and said "that was the most legit DJ I have ever seen at a wedding."

What to Expect
Expect professional attitude and work ethic. I show up on time, well-dressed and play at a volume appropriate for the setting.
Weddings
Ceremony:
- Battery powered ceremony speaker (ideally there's still power for it available)
- Lapel or handheld wireless mic for officiant
- Wired or wireless mic on stand for speakers if needed
- Live piano (keyboard) ceremony, live sax ceremony or MP3 ceremony provided by me
(any other instrument would have to be an add-on musician)
Cocktail hour:
- Saxophone cocktail hour with backing tracks or piano cocktail hour provided by me
(any other instrument would have to be an add-on musician)
Reception:
- Professional sound system with sub
- Pro DJ setup with DJ booth
- Pro wireless saxophone setup to be able to play while walking into the crowd
- Dance lights to liven up the dance floor
- Wireless mic for speeches
- Uplighting (if requested)
Any other events are usually simpler and can have any combination of services listed above.

With over ten years of experience performing at weddings across the US, Alex Gordeev has established himself as a highly respected professional musician and DJ. Whether he's playing saxophone, bass, or keyboards with bands, or DJing at packed weddings and concerts, Alex consistently delivers captivating grooves and melodies wherever he goes.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Alex had the opportunity to study and refine his skills alongside jazz and pop legends like Marcus Miller, Darren Barrett, and George Garzone.
Alex offers a premium DJ service, complete with a top-tier sound system that can accommodate up to 200 guests. His DJ sets cover a wide range of genres, from current chart-toppers to beloved classics (Motown, 70s, 80s, 90s), as well as House, R&B & Hip Hop, Club Classics, Rock, and more, with a collection of over 12,000 songs. During his DJ sets, he also plays the saxophone and frequently steps out of the booth to engage with the crowd, elevating the party’s energy to new heights.
Under his artist project "Exale," Alex releases his self-produced original music as well as tracks for other artists. His music has accumulated over 5 million plays across streaming platforms and YouTube. His debut single “Co-Pilot” garnered over a million streams and appeared on Spotify’s Viral charts in six countries. Following this success, he released music on well-known labels like Dim Mak and Disciple Records. Alex has also won several notable EDM producer contests, including first place in the "Pusher - Tell You" remix contest and second place in "The Chainsmokers - Let You Go" remix contest hosted by (link hidden). His exceptional music production skills further distinguish his DJ sets, as he often creates custom edits, mashups, and remixes of popular songs, making his sound truly unique.
