Alex Shor

Alex did an excellent job playing at our daughter’s wedding this weekend. He was prepared and on time for the event. He even played some extra music for the prelude. Excellent working with him!

Alex came and played Oktoberfest music for my dad and his friends at his assisted living facility. He wore appropriate German attire and played so many favorites. He was on time, professional, engaging and a very talented musician. A great time was had by all!!

Alex has done several arrangements for me - both solo violin parts of popular songs to play with my band, and a string quartet arrangement. He is very fast and does an excellent job!! Highly recommend his work!

One of the violins was very out of tune making the sound not great. Glad we had strings and Alex was professional and timely. It was a good value but wish they had been in tune. Lots of comments from guests about the one violin that wasn't in tune.

Alex did a great job - played exactly as requested a great mix of German songs for my mom's 97th birthday. She lives in a memory care facility and ALL the residents really enjoyed it - there was lots of clapping along, and also dancing! Thanks so much!!

Alex has played every year (except during covid) at our annual Christmas party on both piano and accordion. He is a wonderful entertainer with an extremely large repertoire of all styles of music on both instruments. He always adds the perfect festive touch to our party every year. If you want to add that touch of class to your event, Alex also performs as a solo cellist or member of a string trio or quartet. I highly recommend him as an eclectic, reliable, professional musician who will turn your event into a very special occasion.

We hire Alex to play accordion for dinner parties while guests are arriving and after dinner. He brings a joyful mood to any event. Do not hesitate to call Alex for a private party - live music makes all the difference!

We hired Alex to be our pianist/organist at Decatur First United Methodist Church in February of 2015. He did an exceptional job with his many talents such as organ, piano and cello. We enjoyed having Alex on staff and he will be a great asset to wherever God may lead him.

We contacted Alex with a strange request. We were going to have solo musicians on separate sub-stages that we wanted to have play with our hip-hop, pop music played over our sound system. We wanted instruments you would not expect to play to this current music. Alex was a two-4 he plays the cello and the accordion. He recorded a quick snippet on his cello to some hip-hop song and then we knew he was going to be one of our solo musicians. He did a great Performance and on top of it he was easy to work with and communicate with throughout the process. Alex thank you...you are amazing!
