With over ten years as a Willamette Valley professional, and two-time Portland Area Society of American Magicians Annual Close-Up Contest Winner, I offer you the finest in magical entertainment.

Alexander was spellbinding. Everyone from the 4 year old to the 75 year old were absolutely mesmerized. I tried and tried to figure out how he did his tricks, but it was impossible to figure out. I would highly recommend him for a small or large party or event

For my daughter’s 8th birthday, we decided to go Alexander, and it turned out to be the best decision. He had a natural way of engaging with the kids, making each one feel included, especially my daughter, who got to be part of the show. It was impressive how he managed to hold the attention of a young, energetic crowd, blending humor and intrigue effortlessly. The adults weren’t left out either; his card tricks at the beginning of the event caught everyone off guard with their cleverness. Professionalism was evident in every aspect of his performance, from the timely start to the seamless flow of tricks. But it was his skill in magic that stole the show—just when you thought you had figured out a trick, he’d prove you wrong, leaving everyone bewildered and impressed. Alexander was the right choice for creating a fun and memorable birthday party, offering a mix of entertainment that catered to all ages.

We hired Alexander for strolling magic for a corporate event. #1) He was on time, and ready to go before the party started, which is something I appreciated as the event planner. #2) Many of the people at our event didnt know each other, and Alexander was great about bring together small groups to perform to, and provided an opportunity for strangers to engage with and meet one another #3) We had adults and children, and he was able to engage both groups adeptly.
I would definitely hire him again for another event. You should too!

While this was a birthday party for an 11 year old, I'd have to say the adults enjoyed the show as much as the kids. Alexander, Master of Marvels included the guests in his act and the birthday boy had a special part in the end. He got to successfully perform a trick himself. Also, we had a change of party date and Alexander was able to make that work. A great person to work with and Marvelous time had by all.

Alexander Master of Marvels performed at my son's 11th birthday. We had a wide range of kids from toddler to 5th grade. All of the kids were enthralled by this show! He also had them laughing the entire time. He had a very big part for the birthday boy with some wonderful surprises. He was very professional & was kind to wait a little while for some late guests to arrive. Thank you form making my son's birthday unforgettable!

We changed the date of the party to a later date to accommodate everybody and Alexander, Master of Marvels was wonderful at making his schedule flexible. So we are looking forward to seeing him On Sunday Nov 13th.

Wow, Tim did an awesome job at my grand-daughter's 1st Birthday party. At first I was worried because I had more adults than kids at the party, but, actually, both kids and adults enjoyed every second of his performances (especially, the up and close magic tricks) that they were talking about it for days, weeks, and even months. Afterwards, my guests were asking me for his information so they can book him for their future events. Thank you, Tim, for entertaining us all....and for coming in at the last minute....very much appreciated.

We had Tim perform for kids at our child’s 1 year b’day party and both kids and adults absolutely loved every minute. One of the act was where Tim let a “mouse” into the audience and the children couldn’t get enough of it! Our guests were impressed with Tim and I would highly recommend Tim to any of our friends.

About
Portland's Classic Magician earned a B.A. from U.C. Irvine in Studio Art (Summa Cum Laude), an M.A. from Claremont Graduate University in Sculpture, and went on to to teach art courses at various colleges and art centers for over a decade. Reviving a childhood interest in magic to perform a show for his own kids 5th birthday at a community space, he was then asked by the park system to perform at public events. Following those performances he found himself in demand as a magician, and has been performing in Portland and up and down the west coast ever since. He was voted by the magician members of the Portland area Society of American Magician's as the winner of the Annual Desmond Close-Up Contest in 2002 and 2004. His customers voted him the Nickelodeon Best Party Entertainer in Portland in 2009. His extensive corporate client list includes many major companies as well as small businesses. His classic brand of smooth sleight-of-hand, comedy, and thoughtful presentation makes his magic perfect for almost any event, from Close-Up Strolling and Parlor Magic, to Stage shows for up to 500 people.
