Born and raised in Omaha, I carry the essence of this vibrant city in my being. Yet, the cultural tapestry of my roots is woven with the threads of Guanajuato, Mexico, where my father embarked on a journey for a better life. Professionally, my days are filled with purpose as I work with both children and adults with disabilities, fostering growth and connection. Outside of my work, I step into the limelight as a professional singer, giving voice to my passion for music. In this unique blend of cultural heritage and professional pursuits, my life unfolds as a melody, embracing the beauty of diversity and the power of shared stories.
After seeing her band play jazz music I was blown away. Fun family entertainment for all ages. Would definitely love to see her in Omaha soon.

I’ve seen Alexis Arai in several shows (with Mariachi and her Latin Band) and she’s just incredible.
We went to her show in Jazz on the Green last Thursday and we had a blast 💥
She has a very nice selection of music… salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata, some rock&roll and some of her own songs.

Alexis began singing at the age of 6 and joined a Mariachi band at the age of 8 where she began her career of a vocalist, guitarist, and violinist. Her whole life, weekends consisted of traveling and performing music. Her music is diverse as she sings all genres like Christian music, Latin, Mariachi, Basso Nova, Jazz, country, indie, classical and more.
