Overview
I'm a classically trained cellist holding a degree from Berklee College of Music. However, my love for music lies far from classical music. I consider myself a pop/indie cellist, and I perform with my own backing tracks, all recorded and performed by me.
I rearrange, remix, create, and perform covers of all kinds of music ranging from oldies to broadway to today's top hits, and of course, classical. With over 15+ years of experience performing at weddings, parties, cocktail hours, and more, I can assure you that if you decide to hire me, I will perform the show you need and want for your event!

Alex played cello for our wedding ceremony and we received soooo many compliments about him. It is not just Alex' music that is superb, but also the way in which he plays it - with so much soul and confidence. He was able to play all of our song requests and really gave our event a spark. It has been a dream of mine to have cello at my wedding and he made this dream come true!

Alex played for me and my wife’s wedding church entry, along with 30 min of background music for our guests at the church. The church was filled with beautiful music. He also played two custom songs for our walks down the aisle, even sent me a demo video before we confirmed anything. Incredible cellist, extremely professional and reliable, highly recommend Alex.

When my sister found love again after being single for a decade, we knew that her wedding would be an intimate family and close friends celebration. My mom and I knew we wanted to get a cellist to play during the cocktail hour (which we did first) and then for awhile after the short ceremony.
Alex was the absolute best. We saw that he was playing in Pasadena, so my sister and I decided to go check him out. We knew immediately that he was perfect for the wedding. I think Alex can play anything! He took requests of songs that we were hoping to hear and also played a must for my mom, which made her very emotional. He is so creative with his compositions and I highly recommend him for any special occasions.

We hired Alex to play at our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have been happier with his performance. Not only is Alex a talented musician, and so much fun to work with, his professionalism is outstanding.
Alex was happy to take our special requests for our wedding (we asked for some Blink 182, Weezer, Madonna, among others you don't typically hear on the cello) and he played some of his own recommendations that fit the vibe of our day perfectly. We had so many guests come up to us to say the Cello was one of their favorite parts.

Alex played the cello for our wedding ceremony and did a PHENOMENAL job. Alex was incredibly easy to work with, being able to accommodate our venue, the vast weather changes and our requested songs with ease. Crafting a tailored musical experience for your event, I specialize in curating a set list that suits the occasion perfectly. Open to your specific preferences, I welcome any requests to ensure a customized and memorable musical atmosphere for your event.
Specific Song Requests:
For personalized musical requests, choose from two options:
1. I'll perform your song request similar to the original, or
2. Opt for a unique rendition crafted exclusively for your event, available for an additional fee per song. Mp3 of unique version will be sent to clients after the event.
