    The Alibi Band from Billings, Mt have been providing great top 40 country/rock music for over 30 years. My mother was Charley Prides first fan club president starting in 1967 so music has been everything to me. Lucky for me I had some musical talent so I fell right into the business. I was The Montana State Champ for the True Value Showdown, opened for George Straight at the Casper Event Center, and have backed & performed with most of the Hall Of Fame entertainers like - Jack Green - Hoyt Axton - Buck Owens - Sawyer Brown - Tracy Lawrence to mention a few.
   I've also managed & worked for some of this regions top groups. Bruce Hauser & The Sawmill Creek Band - Kenny Bradberry - & my group is also working for Bobby Chitwood who is signed with a divison of Sony Records. ( (link hidden) ).
    I have an extensive playlist with a variety of songs including: classic country to current hits with styles ranging from legendary country performers like Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty to current artists such as George Strait, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Dwight Yokam and Toby Keith. Also play Classic Rock & Southern Rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels), Also do several original selections as well.
   I perform with a top notch sound system and supply everything - lights if necessary and recorded music during breaks (also customizable by request). I'm dependable, professional, and committed to making your next party or special event a perfect success.

   I perform as a solo artist using partial backing tracks and plays live acoustic and electric guitar, an excellent alternative to those who do not have the funding or space for a full band but still want a professional quality show. I believe that my band Alibi is & has been one of the top bands in the northwest region for many years.
   Established in 1991 these country boys have been entertaining audiences throughout the northwest for over two decades. They have opened for various country artists ranging from George Strait and Sawyer Brown to Hoyt Axton and Lee Greenwood. Having honed their musical chops with the Gairrett Brothers Band in the late 70s and early 80s they went on to refine their talents and become Alibi.
   Bobby Swank will be kickin the skins as Alibis percussionist extraordinaire. Bobby started drumming when he was just 16. Although he has been with blues and a little jazz, he has returned to his roots with country. While playing for Marty Haggard, Merle Haggards son, he opened for Pure Prairie League, among others.

One of our best friends has been playing steel guitar for Kenny Chesney for 12 years. July 10 this year we put on a benefit called Guitars For Kids ( Chords For Kiddos ) & we got a few minutes airtime on the local news.

Having honed their musical chops with the Gairrett Brothers Band in the late 70’s and early 80’s they went on to refine their talents and become Alibi. With a combined total of 120+ years experience in the music business these good ‘ole boys have the wherewithal & talent to play any venue and the personalities to make it pop. Bobby Swank will be kickin’ the skins as Alibi’s percussionist extraordinaire. Bobby started drumming when he was just 16. Although he has been with blues and a little jazz, he has returned to his roots with country. While playing for Marty Haggard, Merle Haggard’s son, he opened for Pure Prairie League, among others. When Bobby moved to Belgium he passed down his sticks to his son, who continues the drumming tradition. Even with frequent trips to Amsterdam, Roberto missed the states, moving back in 1996
Shorty Spang will be slappin the bass and harmonizing with backup vocals. Shorty started his musical career while just in his teens. Shorty is one of those musicians that all bands love, being proficient on both the bass & drums, while being able to pick a little on guitar also. Makes you wonder why he has anyone else with him, well it does get lonely on stage by yourself. While playing with the Gairretts he performed on Hee Haw & Nashville Now to a national television audience. That lead to many studio sessions including playing with Montana’s own songwriter  Kostas.
