My daughter, niece, and I had our henna done for a 16th birthday gathering. She did a very good job and I would recommend her to anyone.

I had Hanna done on my hand during an event at the college of nursing at usf. The design was beautiful and stained perfectly. This is the first time I had Hanna stay on my skin this long!

My daughter goes to a magnet school(strict about no tattoos) schools out for the SUMMER, so we did a thang. Alisha was on time and very professional. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was mine and my daughter’s first henna tattoo. She does everything FREEHAND, which was awesome. She makes her ink so it’s legit w/ no harsh chemicals! The ink is minty, so it kinda feels weird, my daughter said it was burning but it was just minty. It went away once the ink dried. Alisha was so talented and did my hand and my daughter arm/ hand in 30 minutes super fast but looks AWESOME! I was expecting to pay an arm and leg for a henna tattoo, because Clearwater Beach it’s pricey just for something tiny! But nope Alisha’s pricing is very fair for a talent like hers.

I consider Alisha my “personal henna lady!” She is definitely a rare talent! If you allow her to be creative (free-hand) you will not be disappointed! Cant wait for my next session!!!

She arrived on time at my house and completed my henna and gave me instructions on how to make it stain darker. Hired Alisha for my engagement party, she was very communicative and flexible. I sent her some designs and the patterns came out amazing especially with her own touch! She was very adamant about taking care of the henna during the process and after. For some of my guests who did not take care of their hands, the pattern faded away, which goes to show, listen to the henna artist! Alisha did my bridal henna session with my immediate family as well as a mehndi function for my rehearsal dinner guests for my wedding.

Pros: Great creativity within the mandala style approach. She creates unique designs for each individual. She makes her own henna and she does some explanation to newbies on how to care for it or how to bring out the best color. She's very very responsive and I easily communicated with her over text. It was relatively easy to create a custom fee for what I wanted and the invoice process was simple. She's willing to drive to you and to be flexible in terms of time/location needs. She also looked out for my interests as a bride - if people wanted extra and it wouldn't be advantageous for me, she was willing to communicate that.

Considerations: She was great as a modern henna artist, but if you're looking for traditional indian style, this might not be the right fit. She doesn't work with patterns, and does more of the mandala variation style, which was okay with me because I'm not a huge henna person, but the style elements can get repetitive. If you're a bride who wants something specific "wow" and cares more, you might want to communicate that up front.
Also, the henna was a bit abnormal. Everyone's henna started rubbing off after three days - like you can literally rub it off. That's really strange as I've had henna many times and it easily lasts 2 weeks, and sometimes even one month. Alisha was a bit concerned that my wedding was two days after my bridal session and I realized why on the third day - it faded dramatically by the third day. For people who don't like henna on their hands, this is actually kind of a perk...if you have to go to work, you can probably just scrub it off.
Finally, make sure to clarify whether set up/break down time is included in the pricing.

Overall I was happy with it and my guests were happy, but having had real indian henna there were some differences.

Alisha did my wedding last year and we were asked to retake our wedding pictures this year. She did more henna for me for our retake wedding pictures. It turned out amazing. She is so easy to work with and very reliable. I would highly recommend her!

I recently got married and was looking for someone to do my bridal henna and for my bridesmaids.
My best friend found Alisha and we booked her for about 10 girls and my bridal henna. Her henna quality and color is exceptional. A couple family members tried using commercial henna to do their hands at home and they had allergic reactions. Her henna is great since she makes it home and my color came overnight and was really dark and beautiful.
She is also very friendly and a great person to work with which is important when you are running around with all the wedding stress. She made sure that I was comfortable and not getting tired with holding my hands stationary.
Her prices are very reasonable for group rates. I am giving it 4 stars since the bridal henna was a little pricey for me. I got medium coverage and wish I could get a little more coverage to add just a bit more detail to my hand designs.

In a nutshell, if you you are looking to get mehndi for your south asian wedding party anywhere in the Tampa Bay area or any other occasion, she is the GO TO! Thank you.

I hired Alisha to come to my home and do some henna art on my pregnant belly and both hands before our due date. Our communication was good beforehand and she was professional and on time. I didn't show her any pictures, yet she managed to create exactly what I was hoping for and so much more. Everyone that sees it assumes she used a stencil, but it was all freehand. She is truly talented. The henna ink she used was made by her and was high quality as well as all natural, which was very important to me. It's been a week and the henna is still dark and beautiful! Alisha was very professional. She arrived on time and worked as quickly as possible while doing a great job. The henna work she did was very beautiful - be it from a picture that someone wanted something similar or be it freehand. She was able to work within the time she stated it would take for multiple people, and she even finished some things quicker. Our entire party really liked the outcome of their henna designs. The henna used was also very good. It was all natural, so no one had a reaction to it and it naturally went away after about 2 weeks without having to use other products or peel it your skin. Alisha was very sweet, and if we ever need another henna artist, we will definitely contact her first.

I had henna part two days before my wedding and I wasn't sure where to find henna artist so I just googled it and Alisha had the best review so I went with it and honestly it was one of the best henna tattoos I ever had.
