I live across the country, and couldn't attend the surprise 70th birthday party for my son. Therefore, I had to make all these arrangements by phone, not knowing what I was getting. Thanks to google, I was fortunately put into contact with Linda Hawks who provided
me with everything I had hoped for.
Linda's pink gorilla was a smash hit. Everyone was completely surprised and delighted, adults and children, alike. Thank you Gigsalid, and most of all, thank you to Linda Hawks for allowing me to be a part of this very special occasion.

We hired another Minnie Mouse that cancelled less than 24 hrs before our event. We reached out to All Event Entertainment through Gig Salad and Linda saved the day. With less than 24 hrs she was able to provide the perfect Minnie Mouse for our birthday tea party! Highly recommend!!

“Mystica” had car troubles, so she arrived very frazzled (which I’m sure impacted her performance)
A few tricks failed, props fell, some of the “paper bag” tricks were just too juvenile, she dug through a suitcase to find parts of tricks, tried the same trick three times and never succeeded… perhaps she is better suited for children’s parties. On a positive note, she did involve members of the audience for a couple of tricks, and she ended with a good trick that worked, so it was nice to close with something positive. On our conference evaluation forms, the “entertainment” section received all negative scores. We appreciated the effort, but it was not a successful performance.

I have debated leaving a review for a few days but I have decided that other people should be aware. If you’re hiring for a kids party then I’m sure it’s great. I had expectations of a singing telegram that would embarrass my coworker. The only one embarrassed was me though. $350 for someone to come in and be there for less than 5 minutes, a costume that was broken and didn’t even zip up the back so her entire backside was just open and hanging out, it was incredibly awkward like she wasn’t prepared at all and even though I told her at least 5 times “he’s the last one on the right” she still seemed very confused. I can’t believe for $350 that it all seemed so tacky and trashy and actually made me want to start my own singing telegram company here so people would have a great experience. I’m still in shock over what took place and wish I could go back and not sign up to have her come in. I hope no one else has the same experience I had and feels so let down and duped.

Thank you for your feedback as ALL feedback is valued. We have been in business for years and have gotten rave reviews. We take pride in what we do. A Singing Telegram time is dictated by the song that is chosen, therefore if one song is chosen, it can take up to 5 minutes.
The guest of honor and others seemed to like it and he did look embarrassed as you intended to do. As there were many people moving about in the room, I wanted to ensure once more that I would approach the correct person. Unfortunately, we did have a costume malfunction that we didn’t discover until putting on the costume for your event. It was something I could work with since it was in the back. I tried to keep the back of the costume away from the crowd as much as I could, so they wouldn’t see the opening in the back. We were there, we didn’t want to disappoint anyone and we all know the motto, “The Show Must Go On.”
History of the costume: When we originally received the shipment of the costume, it did not have a zipper on the back – just tied behind the neck. That was the way it was made, but we wanted the back to be closed. So, we solved the issue by using adhesive velcro. It worked well for many events with no issues. Apparently, unbeknownst to us, the adhesive lost its stickiness since it was last used a few months ago.
When we returned, we promptly sewed the Velcro in so this does not happen again. As we were away over the weekend, it was my intent to call you when we returned and offer you a copy of the video for free, since we had that small malfunction in the back of the costume.

What to Expect
FACE PAINTER: A Professional Face Painter will do unlimited face painting for the time requested. We do all kinds of designs for Face Painting, including requests!!! Everyone always has a great time! Some samples are on here. We have more samples of some of the face painting we've done on our web site and on our Facebook page.
SINGING TELEGRAMS are a great surprise and so much fun! Perfect for congratulations and celebrations, holidays, being romantic, embarrassing someone, or just letting someone know you're thinking of them. It's also a great way to send someone something special when you can't be there in person. It can be indoors or outdoors - a restaurant, park, hospital, house, etc. A Professional Singer will come and sing to the guest(s) of honor. We can personalize your request. If you have a theme, we can dress up or wear a costume - from upscale elegance to fun & silly!
SOLO MUSICIAN PERFORMANCE: The Professional Singer doesn't just sit or stand there and sing, but puts on a SHOW! Engaging with the Audience is a huge part! The Singer uses a wireless mic to move about the area and even get close to the people who aren't close to the stage. It is always fun having someone sing along on the mic. They love to feel like they're part of the show, too. It's all about the fun, show and Audience!
WATERPROOF TEMPORARY GLITTER TATTOOS are the latest trend, and are perfect for everyone - Boys, girls, men and women. We have a wide array of designs to choose from. Our Glitter tattoos are waterproof & dermatologist tested. They don't come off that night, or even the next day. They last up to 7 days. Quite a few tattoos have lasted even longer (some around 3 weeks)! You may easily remove them at any time, as well. They are well loved by the young and young at heart. We use hypoallergenic glue and cosmetic glitter. You'll receive unlimited glitter tattoos for the time booked. We have more samples of some of the Glitter Tattoos we've done on our web site and on our Facebook page.
CLOWN: Clowns are so much fun! Interactive magic show, games, juggling, etc. They just bring such joy to any event!
MAGICIAN: We have a Magician that will do an interactive magic show!
WINGED DANCER: We have beautiful wings with an array of colored light choices, as well as special effects with the lights. For instance, all solid white lights are beautiful and pure for weddings. Other parties & events love multiple colors and changing lights. Usually there is a one-song performance, but we can always customize.
COSTUMED CHARACTERS are always a fun addition to any event!
EASTER BUNNY: We have the cutest Easter Bunny! You have 3 choices: Pink vest, Green vest or Natural. Our Easter Bunny has a HUGE carrot to "munch" on, too!
COMEDIAN: Time To Laugh! Get ready for a fun comedy show!
COLOSSAL BASKETBALL: If you are looking for a fun game that doesn't require a lot of supervision, then this is the competition for you! It's great for indoors or outdoors. For adults and kids 7 and up. The kids will be WOWED as they try to toss the huge inflatable basketball into a huge inflatable net. This is a great piece to add some spice to your party. We have a regular-sized basketball for the "little ones." We also have a 23" and a HUGE 37" ball!
We just added something BRAND NEW!!! - The PARTY CANNON is a new and innovative invention that will revolutionize the party industry. There's nothing else like it in the industry!
