Ally Hornsby

Ally is professional figure skater and aerialist in Mississauga, Ontario. She grew up on the ice and competed as a competitive figure skater for years before turning professional. While touring with an ice show, she trained to become the aerialist understudy on the show. From there, she fell in love with circus!
- As a figure skating aerialist she's been cast as the specialty act on the Allure of the Seas ice show with Royal Caribbean cruise lines. She performed at a Christmas show with her inline figure skating hoop act in a Californian Church.
- As an aerialist she has performed all over the GTA with companies like Cirque Revolution, Toronto School of Circus Arts and independent performances. She was cast as the aerial hoop artist on an OLG Television Commercial. Performed flying trapeze shows in the Dominican Republic and as an aerialist in Mexico.
- As a figure skater she performed at the Canada's Wonderland ice show, toured with Holiday on ice, Twentieth Century Fox and Stage Entertainment Touring Productions. She was the pro skater to a celebrity partner on the television shows Buzda Dans II (Turkey) and Sterren Dansen op het Ijs (Netherlands). She performs locally with Glisse on ice.

Rigging equipment is the most important.
In a building, if it is not clear that rigging is possible from the ceiling, I would need to check the building myself.
If it is not safe to rig, aerials is not possible. Or the alternative of renting a standing rig. That would be a separate expense. The standing rig, is also suitable for an outdoor space.
If the building is riggable, I would need to check the building myself, get information from the building, have ample time before the event to rig my equipment, as well as time after the event to take down the rigging equipment.
