Aloha Polynesia - Luau Entertainment

Aloha Polynesia was a cultural delight on our campus! They were guest performers for our "Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration Week" at ARC. Our entire study body was captured by their music, art of dancing, their involvement with the crowd and cultural facts of their performances. They are an amazing group of people who spontaneously shared their Polynesian culture at ARC! Please book their group for an amazing and wholesome time!

Aloha Polynesia performed at our middle school during lunch. It was on a Spirit Day and it was Hawaiian Day!!! They performed on the inside stage. Three dancers came. The kids loved it!! The music was great and there was so much energy. Also, they had student come on stage and taught them some of the dances and let the students perform on stage with them. I will not hesitate to have them come to our school again.

Moana arrived early and greeted our young guests with leis. She was professional, stuck to her character and danced beautifully. She taught the kids a few traditional Polynesian dances, did a sing-along to a couple Moana songs, took pictures with each of the kids, and gave our daughter a Moana necklace after singing happy birthday. The kids and adults loved it! I am so pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Moana from Aloha Polynesia for a party!

Aloha Polynesia brought so much joy and lasting memories for my husband. His party was a hit and the talk of my neighborhood. I just wish I had booked more musicians and more hula girls. I highly recommend Aloha Polynesia!

This is the 2nd time we have used Aloha Polynesia for a resident event and this was even better than last years show!! Don't get me wrong last years was great, but this year we added the fire dancer and he was AMAZING! The music is wonderful, the dancers are fantastic and Cheryl is very pleasant to work with. We will continue to use them at our future Luau's!!

Our daughter will be attending University of Hawaii in the fall, so we decided to hire Luau entertainment for her party!! From the beginning, Cheryl was very easy to work with and made accommodations for our needs. On the day of the party the musicians, hula dancers and fire dancer were amazing. They incorporated the crowd into their show. It was such a great time!! Wonderful memories for our daughter, family and friends!

I was impressed with the lovely hula dancers the moment they arrived to my mom's 67th birthday party. They arrived on time and was prepared way before the time I desired for the show to start. The ladies were very patient and smiled the entire time. Once it was show time they introduced themselves and was very entertaining. My mom was surprised and had no idea about the dancers and she even participated. All the guest at the party was also impressed with the ladies. We could of watched them easily for another hour. Next time we use your services I know it will be well worth it. The entertainment was so fun and we all loved the music, smiles,participation,and the outfits was amazing. I want to say thank you and we loved every minute. Everyone was so excited to take pictures with the beautiful ladies as well. I have never been to Hawaii or Tahiti, but want to go now after seeing these young ladies perform. The story is that I wanted to book a hula dancer for my daughter's 7th birthday and was trying to get a quote from someone who had been booked by a friend before in the past. While I was communicating by email, they ended up telling me later that they booked up the day I was planning the party. The invites had been sent out already too! Ugh! So I come to Gig Salad in desperation and immediately got a response back from Aloha Polynesia. She sent a quote via Gig Salad, and then called me after I sent my info to call. Cheryl was very professional over the phone and was more than accommodating regarding my payment needs and also made a way for the girls to perform. The girls arrived earlier than expected and were willing to wait for the scheduled time to start their performance. They explained their dances and where they came from and showed the girls how to dance. They allowed for pictures and video to be taken during and after their dancing. It is obvious they work hard and take pride in what they do. I would recommend them to anyone!! Their prices are fair for everything they give you. My daughter even got a keepsake of the event too! I love those young ladies, they are talented and beautiful, and they worked well with the girls too!

Aloha Polynesia did an outstanding job and was a great success at our Luau Party. I was honoring my late sister's birthday and all her colleagues and friends attended. This party brought everyone together to Celebrate a great person and friend. From the very beginning, Cheryl was professional and communicated very well with expectations and worked with me closely to ensure my party was a success. She came through with flying colors. The group who danced and played instruments were professional and friendly and warm. The audience participation was so fun to see everyone come together to dance. We laughed so much, I am sure my sister Kathy is joining in on all the smiles. I would recommend Aloha Polynesia to anyone and you won't go wrong. They are a class act! It was fantastic!

WOW! What a great show of Polynesian dancing and music! Our community's Social Club event was lucky to have Aloha Polynesia join our event. They transported the partygoers to the islands, performing several dances with many costumes, and many cultural themes. Audience volunteers added the fun and humor to the show, also! The group was most professional, polite, and friendly. The cost was worth-while for the entertainment value and added so much to our event.

Aloha Polynesia performed at our Hawaiian luau wedding reception! Everything was incredible...they were the hit of the event! The dancers were beautiful and the band was funny and kept the audience entertained in between the costume changes. Aloha Polynesia recently performed for our senior assisted living community. Everything was wonderful. They arrived on time. The musicians were entertaining and the dancers delightful. Staff and residents enjoyed the opportunity to learn some new moves and be part of the show. After the program the beautiful dancers visited with us and gave us many photo opps. All in all, a delightful experience!

We hired Joe and three Hula dancers to perform at our daughter's college graduation. This was a surprise to everyone to have polynesian entertainment. They were loved by not only our daughter but everyone in attendance. Having Joe emcee, play ukelele, then drums added to the beauty of enjoying the expert dancing and costumes that were changed several times in the program. Their costumes were colorful and added to the ambience with gracious moves. For bonus, our family and friends enjoyed the interactive dance lessons, then picture taking with these beautiful island girls. This entertainment just boosted our memories that we will never forget. Furthermore, Cheryl always made us feel at ease by touching bases with us before the event and sharing her ETA the day of. You've been absolutely professional. Aloha Polynesia performed at our graduation banquet and they did a great job! They were very flexible with the coordination of the event and they were such a nice group! The performance was upbeat and fun. They called several guests to do a dance off with them which was very entertaining! Thank you for such a great addition to our party!!!

I hosted a bridal shower for my goddaughter who is getting married next month in Maui. It was a lovely outdoor luncheon. Joe came out and sang and played ukulele for 90 minutes during the event. He arrived on time, was very professional and easy to work with. Best part was the beautiful music and talent he has. When our bride arrived there were lots of happy tears and his singing was just a beautiful touch for a very special day. Thank you Joe!

These lovely dancers were true professionals. Many of us in attendance had been to many professional Luaus. We were all impressed with the dancers traditional movements of hands, arms, feet and hips. They smiled with both mouth and eyes which drew our audience into the show. The choreography of the dancers was an art. I highly recommend this performance group

We were thrilled when you all came in as Susan’s surprise “festivities!” for our 30th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal Celebration! We must have been quite a site among you lovely, graceful, very patient and sweet dancers! Wow Susan really does know me!! (I had more than one comment, I wish my wife would do that for me!!). We booked Aloha Polynesia this year for our first Luau at Crown Plaza and every enjoyed their show and especially their dancing. We will use them for our next Luau at the Crown.

I highly recommend Aloha Ploynesia for your entertainment needs, via weddings, birthdays, just because. They were awesome performers at our wedding reception on 06.21.14, everyone just loved them. The participation by my guests were great along with the dancers. I will for sure ask them again to do a show ~ Alohaaaaaaaa ~

this company was very entertaining the girls were beautiful as well as had fun personalities, the host was great at getting the crowd involved my daughters sweet 16 was a big hit thank u aloha polynesia they were friendly & worked with our small changing area with a huge smile on their faces we very much recomend this company and will be using them again

We hired Aloha Polynesia for a father/daughter elementary school event. Everyone enjoyed their beautiful dancing and their fun spirit in entertaining the children and their fathers. We originally loved the ease in which we were able to organize and contract with them. Of the many places we called, Aloha Polynesia was the easiest to work with. On the day of the event we were extremely happy with their professionalism, timeliness, their music and dancing and the ease with which they entertained a large number of rowdy girls :-). They were overall GREAT! I highly recommend them for any event.

The Aloha girls were fantastic. They involved all the kids who enjoyed learning the dance. My 1 yr daughter couldn't resist but get up and shake her butt. Also my husband n couple guys got involved n the whole crowd was cheering and plauding. We will surely use aloha girls again and refer to everyone too.

The girls arrived on time. They set up quickly. The performance was excellent and the performers stayed after they had finished allowing time for the audience to take photographs and talk to them.

For this review I want you to know that my time in the U.S. Navy had me spent a fair amount of time in French Polynesia and the Hawaiian Islands. My review is based on the more than 20 floor shows that I have seen and or organized.
Aloha Polynesia’s show is hands down, a great value for the money. The Girls I hired had danced all over French Polynesia including my favorite Boro Bora and also American Samoa including the Island of Tonga. You might also find members of this dance team at the King Kamehameha Hula Competition in Honolulu Hawaii. They didn’t have to tell me, but I know that they have spent crazy money for the traditional dress. They have also perfected the dances that I enjoy most. This is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and invest in the memory of having a live drummer. Seeing the girls move to the live drums is a must. Most importantly, if you think you will only book this once in your lifetime, remember this… Three girls is good but five or more is always better.

I feel very gratful that I was able to find Aloha Polynesia. Cheryl was very accommodating. I hired them for my husband's 69th birthday party. We had a backyard Luah and it was a big success. People are still talking and letting me know what a fantastic show we had at our party. They felt like they were actually in Hawaii. The live music was amazing and their costumes were outstanding. We hired Aloha Polynesia to entertain our guests at a casual harvest party in Napa Valley. They ended up being the absolute highlight of everyone's night- beautiful to watch, outstanding audience participation and the musicians were better than many I've seen in the islands. What a wonderful group and we would absolutely hire them again.

What a beautiful evening we had when Aloha Polynesia presented their wonderful production. The ladies are beautiful and talented. Their musician fun and entertaining. After an hour of tropical dances, the evening didn't end when the dancers greeted our guests and stayed to take pictures...never once losing their smile. I can't wait to have the opportunity to bring this delightful performers to another gathering.

All worries about hiring a Hawaiian entertainer were gone after contacting Aloha Polynesia. The communication from start to finish was excellent. And the amazing show was non-stop entertainment with different dances, props, music and even audience participation (that was the funny part). We had all ages there and everyone loved the show. Will use them again.

The event I arranged with Aloha Polynesia far exceeded all our guests expectations.The entertainers were engaging and inviting to all attendees . Getting my mother who has been battling cancer for several years to parcipitate willingly was a joy for everyone to see. My mother called to exclaim the next morning insisting that the evening prior must have been a dream. This is a personal note of thanks to Cheryl, the dancers and the Alaskan musicians who arrived in town that day, yet still were punctual, even early. Their warmth and abilities made all feel very much as if we were in their Island home. All participants highly recommend Aloha Polynesia and we plan to book them in the future.

Aloha Polynesia was hired for our 15 yr anniversary party. The three dancers arrived on time and were ready to perform earlier than schedule. They brought multiple media options, ipod and CD, and a printed script in order to make it easier for the dj. The dances varied in style and tempo, keeping the audiences' attention. The dancers interacted with the audience and were able to get several up for demos/lessons. Afterwards they left the dressing room in the same manner they found it.

I have been a loyal client of Aloha Polynesia's Hula Troop for many years. As a former hula girl from a different troop and frequent traveller to Hawaii, I only want to hire the best.
