I happen to be a very right brain creative type person. I am gifted in fine art, photography, creative writing, poetry, and song lyrics to name a few. I also love dance and value a good walk in the fresh air of the outdoors. With all that said, I find the greatest gift of all is in communication through words. A good flow promotes peace.
I graduated from UCA in Conway, AR in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in art. I minored in Special Education and most of my work experience has been helping disabled people of all types. My favorite disability to work with must be emotionally disturbed because of the great challenges and wonderful rewards.
In 2009 taking a HUGE leap of faith which I was told was an impossibility, I found God in a much BIGGER way and began challenging those things that were said to be impossible. Nothing is impossible with God and I have found great wonder and protection through Him!
I began researching deception and found that it began studying me. I have been attending to the School of Hard Knocks for the last year and a half and the last six months the tests have been very tough. Lately, I tear up not because of sadness but because I see a glimpse of the promised land.
Identifing much with Hagar when she was cast out in the wilderness with her son Ishmael by Sarai, Abram's wife, in the book of Genesis of the Old Testament in the Holy Bible. I have recently had my name changed to Alulia Baca.
Baca represents to me the wilderness experience in which I was a pilgrim on a journey through the Valley of Baca. This valley is mentioned in Psalm (link hidden) refers to a place of desolation in which a well springs forth that represents my true salvation through this experience who is none other than Jesus Christ!
I latched onto the name Alulia more than 30 years ago. I like the name and it reminds me of the word Hallelelujah or Alleluia which simply means a shout of praise, joy and gratitude to Yahweh or the God of the Universe. I'm all about that because He alone deserves it from delivering me where I have come from a taking me into safety and loving on me always.
Through my journey, I have found the greatest blessings in concentrating on the positive nuggets of the experience as a whole and avoiding the negative emotions that only tend to be upsetting. We must keep our head up and move forward to experience life to its fullest and enjoy each step for what value it has and learn from our mistakes and triumphs.
We need to praise God for all things and that includes those valleys we go through, especially. You can't pan for gold on those mountain tops but through the valley in clear water you may find a sparkle of something valuable that only God can lead you to in those streams. God bless all who hear the spirit of God and know His voice!
