Alyssa Raqs is an award winning bellydancer who specializes in Modern oriental and Fusion style bellydance. Versatile and dynamic, Alyssa has developed her own style inspired by many musical genres while remaining true to the art of Raqs sharqi. She incorporates a variety of props such as sword, LED, fire and Silk veils. She has also been featured on live television and performed with award winning international rock band Orphaned Land.

She looked beautiful and the crowd loved her. We did an Arabian nights theme for NYE downtown for over 200 people and she made sure to be there early, have everything in order and she was a beautiful dancer. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a belly dancer/performer.

Naamah was extremely professional and entertaining. Her dancing was beautiful as was she and her outfit. She transformed my modest back yard into a mystical place as she danced on a magic carpet. She and her husband are a wonderful team - they were right on time and he brings the music and PA system so she can devote all her time and efforts to the performance. She was the perfect touch to our Mediterranean -themed party! I would definitely hire her again!

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Alyssa fell in love with the art of bellydance at the age of 17 in 2007. She began taking traditional and tribal bellydance workshops, classes and also studying and learning on her own from home. Her passion for the dance continues to grow and as she also continues to train in various styles.
