Amanda Beagle is a NYC based Soprano at home in the worlds of Opera, Musical Theater, Cabaret and the Concert Stage. Her singing has taken her all over the world, entertaining audiences aboard luxury cruise liners. She made her NYC debut at Lincoln Center and debuted her newest show and CD, The Italian-American Songbook, at the Metropolitan Room in NYC. A former Miss Ohio, Amanda won a talent award at Miss America 2005. A classical singer with pop sensibilities, Amanda has a passion for the world of Classical Crossover music, breathing new life into modern classics. She is known for her beautiful expressive singing, her distinguished grace and poise and her Midwest inspired banter and humor.
My husband and I hired Amanda for a very unorthodox vow renewal. We stumbled across Gig Salad after a thorough search of the wedding officiant selections. We couldn't find a fit for our crazy event so we started looking for an actor of sorts that could "play" the role of our officiant. Gig Salad not only was easy to navigate but we jumped on contacting Amanda when we noticed she was originally from our home state. Amanda was game for participating in our crazy adventure in New York. She had the confidence and stage experience to stand up in a crowded restuarant and garnering the diners' attention. She gathered information about our marital story and we gave her carte blanche to put together a heartfelt and elegant mini service that had many in the room knowing they were witnessing something pretty special. We realized that we were asking Amanda to perform something outside her already extensive performing and public speaking experience. But she never hesitated and gave our wild idea an air of sophistication and class. We have kept in touch and continued to follow Amanda's amazing adventure through her career path. She is so multi-talented and professional. Top notch talent, born and raised like a good Midwest girl!
