Amor do Samba

We lived for 6 years in Brazil. We now live in the Bay Area, but we decided to bring a little Brazilian flavor to our New Years Eve Party. We hired 3 spectacular dancers to make a surprise Samba performance in pure Carnaval fashion. Anastasia, Nikki and Guy showed up and really elevated the energy at our party. They got people dancing and were excellent performers. We highly recommend them.

Amor do Samba are just a wonderful God send. They saved the day by being professional and helping me with my video on short notice. Being on time, this was very important to me. The women were all beautiful and their costumes were stunning. I hope to work with them again with any new show or party's that I may have in the future. Tanilee and Amor Do Samba delivered a spectacular finale at our recent musical production. The dancers were very professional, talented, the costumes were gorgeous, and the high energy Batucada was just like being in Rio! A perfect closer for our event, and guests LOVED it! Big kudos as well for how professional and responsive the team was at a business level and helping us provide continuity for the artistic vision we had laid out. Amor Do Samba was AMAZING!! I would like to point out that I hosted a "Rio de Carnaval" bridal shower party last night and Amor do Samba was seriously the highlight and envy of snapchat watchers who did not attend the party!! I got texts left and right saying , people wish they had gone to the bridal shower since it looked amazing and super fun because of the samba dancers!

Let's also talk about how my AC thermostat, I could not figure it out at all, and despite the existing heat with 40 plus guest, Amor Do Samba turned up the heat even hotter, and got everyone screaming and on their feet dancing!

I hired 3 dancers and 1 capoeira, the capoeira was an amazing touch to the samba dancers! THe crowd went wild for the brazilian martial arts moves and they were mesmersized by the energy of the samba dancers!

1. COMMUNICATIVE - they respond immediately, and Tanilee was so professional from the start and accomodating. Tanilee communicates so efficiently that I never worried one bit about her attendance and making sure that we were on the same page. I trusted her immediately, and she upheld the trust!

2. BUDGET - they work with your budget to get you the best deal possible. As a maid of honor for the bride to be, I had a tight budget but I KNEW with the right samba team, this party would be a hit for the guest and make sure everyone on snapchat was also mesmerized! THATS EXACTLY WHAT I GOT! I GOT WELL OVER MY MONEYS WORTH!

3. PROFESSIONALISM - With competing samba teams in the bay area, shopping around has been difficult. I wanted to make sure whomever I hired was professional and did not backbite others, Its important to have a team where the character is in the right place. Tanilee and her team were professional from the start, great attitude, and she adjusted my vision to be even better. What really sets apart this team from others, when I was shopping around, is that they are very understanding and their hearts are in the right place. THEY LOVE SAMBA and you can tell they are all about enrichment of the samba culture and not about stepping over other samba teams!

As the host I sadly was not able to watch the whole performance because I have to run the show constantly, BUT I could hear people screaming in joy, and phones were out snapping away, and the bride to be was overjoyed! I cant waaaaaaiiitttt to hire you guys again!!!!!

I hired Amor do Samba to perform for my husband's birthday party at our home. They were absolutely wonderful to work with from the booking process, to event, to post event follow up. I worked with Tanilee to coordinate the dancers for my event. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions thoroughly and quickly to ensure everything was in place for our event. The dancers arrived timely and were very professional. They helped engage the crowd and get everyone on the dance floor. Our group the young and the old - had a blast showing off their samba moves with the dancers! We had so many great photos and videos of the guests with the dancers. Having Amor do Samba added an extra special and memorable element to our wonderful celebration.

Wow. From the start, this company was so easy to work with, nice, responsive... you name it. I needed some samba dancers last minute for a surprise for my husband on our wedding day. They were such a blast! Everyone loved them. Speaking from someone who has seen about 10-15 samba shows at weddings in Miami, I was completely impressed by the level of talent and energy these women brought. They helped pass out props and even customized a dance for my husband and I to join in.

We had two dancers come for our wedding. Tanilee was prompt and professional in all her communications leading up to the event. The dancers were great and a lot of fun! They really had the entire crowd going.

Tanilee and her partner did an incredible job for us. They were there at the time they said they would be there. It was my husband's 60th birthdays and everyone who came is still talking about it and those who missed it heard about it. Both dancers were beautiful and represented the idea that we have of samba dancers to perfection. I hired some Samba dancers with Amor do Samba to help entertain a Pre World Cup birthday bash and we could not have made a better choice. From the first response of the email I sent out inquiring info on the dancers to the professional prompt and friendly phone calls to fallow. The dancers were a perfect touch to our party and beyond our expectations with beautiful costumes and amazing Brazilian samba moves. It was entertaining and energizing for our guests from the 3 year old to the 83 year old. " PURE ART " was a quote from one of the guests and I could not agree more. The ladies had amazing moves and a contagious energy about them. I highly recommend Amor do Samba and I feel so lucky that they were apart of our party and are now the highlight of many conversations! Our party ROCKED.... Thanks to them!

The dancers are amazing, with gorgeous costumes and awesome samba routines. The drummers were outstanding and really set the tone. Amor do Samba really made the event! Guests are still talking about their performance.

We held a cultural reception focusing on Brazil at our work and we hired Amor do Samba to give a dance performance, they were great! We received a very reasonable non-profit rate for two dancers, Tanilee and Brandi, and they danced for almost 20 minutes. Even the untrained eye can tell they are professional and well trained, it really shows in their performance. All of my dealings with Tanilee ahead of time were professional, from the quote, to contract, to payment, to performance. I highly recommend this group if you are looking for this type of performance, they are worth it and will get your guests dancing and excited.

Tanilee and her team did a fantastic job at my wedding couple weeks ago in Fremont CA at an Asian banquet. I am so thankful for their amazing performances. They definitely got my party started. I had a traditional Vietnamese wedding and a lot of the guests attending were very conservative so I didn’t know what to expect. I took a chance and hired Tanilee and her team because I thought this is different and I personally love samba dancers. Once they started performing, the whole room got all excited and they all got up to their feet with cameras. They all started dancing along with the dancers and they all had a great time. To this day, my guests are still talking about the dancers. I am so glad that Tanilee and her team were available for my wedding. She was so accommodating and truly a professional. She was outstanding! Everyone liked her and was raving how beautiful and sexy she is. Not only were the guys in awe, but all the ladies including myself were jealous of her well toned body! She was a gem to work with. You made the right choice with the dancer.

I decided that I wanted to surprise my husband and my guests with something spectacular at our wedding reception in May of 2013...in comes Tanilee with two other gorgeous women in full Samba ensemble. Tanilee was very professional throughout the whole process and extremely responsive, which made the planning very stress free. She was on time and walked in to the song that I requested at the exact time that I requested. I thought that having her and the dancers come in toward the end of the reception would re-awaken the crowd, and boy did it ever. Jaws dropped and cameras were picked up, everyone had a blast and is still talking about it. I can't wait to share some of the professional pics with Tanilee!

We hired Amor de Samba for our companies holiday party which was Mardi Gras themed. The dancers and drummers were amazing! It was very easy to work with Tanilee and she did everything we asked for.
