For the past several years, Holiness Tabernacle begins the new year with 3 weeks of consecration. Several members from different backgrounds are asked to share a message to uplift and encourage the church. The services conclude with a 3-day revival that Elder Powell, and the Evangelistic Team (of which he is the president) coordinate.
His message, entitled "What Are You Eating?" focused on three points: (1) Be prepared to eat; (2) Everyone Eats; (3) What's On Your Plate? As a pastor I am keenly interested in the spiritual growth and engagement of the congregation during messages. Elder Powell "hit the mark". Of course, we always glorify God when the Spirit moves and the people are uplifted, but God has to have a vessel through which He can work. Elder Powell was most certainly used by the Lord during this final night of our 2022 revival and consecration.

As well as the host of the AMPPED Up Squad Podcast shows. He is the former president of the 57th Field Office Club (Toastmasters International). He was awarded Second Place in his 1st ever appearance in, International Speech Area Contest in Spring 2017. André continues to be active as an Elder at Holiness Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ, often speaking and expounding on the Biblical stories, and providing life application.
