I am a publicist and booked Amy and her partner Madison for a charity event. They are skilled hoppers which is a given, but it's the rest of the performance aspect that made them stand out. They were professional, they knew how to tailor their music choice and performance style to the event attendees, and they kept the energy up in the crowd, teaching tricks and doing challenges after. My name is Amy and I am a professional hoop dancer in Houston, Texas. I have been teaching and performing professionally since 2014 and since have spent countless hours devoted to perfecting my craft. I have developed a unique style and passion for performing and teaching hoop dance. I have an extensive performance resume, co-own the nation's largest hula hoop afterschool company (Mad About Hoops), and co-founded the High Altitude Hoop Retreat, an all-inclusive hoop retreat for adults. I love to entertain and share my passion with the world.
FIRE SHOWS:
I am an insured performer. Generally, Fire performances need to be outside unless the indoor space has been approved and permitted. If the event takes place on public property, you may need to obtain a permits from the city for any fire acts. 10 x 10 area is the minimum requirement for fire performances as well as a separate area for storing fuel. All safety equipment and a designated safety personnel is provided by me and is included my rates. Fire equipment is inspected regularly for safety to ensure the safety of performers and guests.
LED SHOWS:
LED Hoops / other LED equipment can be utilized indoors or outdoors in dry climates.
5 x 5 area is sufficient for LED acts. My LED hoops are customizable and can be programed to match the costuming or theme of your event.
OTHER:
Outdoor / Daytime shows will be performance style taped hoops with a metallic finish that sparkle in the sun.
Music / other:
Please specify type of sound system & staging info at time of booking. I can provide a speaker system for small - medium sized events with a transmission range of 100 feet, 100 watts and aux cord and mic.

I have been influenced by many hoop dancers, rhythmic gymnastics and circus style hoop stars. I have also been influenced by a variety of dance styles including hip hop, burlesque, belly dancing, ballet and modern dance.
Each event is different, therefore, event needs can vary from event to event. We can discuss these details upon booking.
