Andrea Moreira is the founder, lead dancer and choreographer for “Dance Brasil”, Atlanta’s Premier Entertainment Company providing the best Brazilian Samba Show available in the Greater Atlanta Area.
Andrea, raised in Brazil, is passionate about her homeland’s culture and it is important to her that it be represented on a high level..Dance Brasil dancers are well-trained and rehearsed. The company has performed private, public and corporate events.
Azima is a professional Belly Dancer (since 1999) and dances with Fire, sword, veils, fans and zills.

Andrea could not have been a better Entertainment Guest for our party! We have an annual Luau every year for our residents where they get to eat Hawaiian-themed meals and enjoy Hawaiian-themed entertainment. She came in a beautiful costume and performed the dances with such ease, she is a natural! She got the residents and staff smiling, clapping and dancing! We will definitely have her back every year for this event until she is sick of us, and will be planning more events around her many dancing skills!

Brazil Dance group is awesome! We booked them for the Atlanta International Night Market- Cultural event. Over 52k people were there and they love the dance. We want to invite them back for November 3-5, 2017.

I live in Maui and my brother was having a 50th Birthday Party that I could not attend so I wanted to send something fun and exciting for him. I was looking for a Hula Dancer in Atlanta which is not easy.... Andrea was wonderful and worked with me in a timely manner which is not easy with a 6 hour time difference. She was amazing, the party totally loved having her and she did a great Hula for them and getting the guest up to dance and making it festive.Thank you for helping create a wonderful memory for our family and it was awesome that I was able to watch via Facetime so I saw the performance as well... Andrea “Azima” Moreira & Dance Brasil Entertainment
Born in Brazil, Andrea Moreira is the head "Dance Brasil" Entertainment. She has danced professionally since 1988, and started as a ballet dancer. She came to Atlanta in 1993 and have been doing other dance styles.
Andrea Moreira, also known as "Azima", began belly dancing in 1998 and is self-taught. She made her first appearance in October, 1998 at the Imperial Fez for Ted Turner's birthday party. Since then, she has been performing Oriental dance in the Southeast United States and Brazil.
Andrea is the choreographer/director of "Dance Brasil" Company. The company is made up of an elite group of professional dancers based in Atlanta area. All members of the company have a solid dance background including, ballet, Latin, jazz, folklore, Middle Eastern, tap .
The company performs dances from Brazil (mainly the samba) in a very elegant and lively manner. We try to bring the essence of the samba and the happiness of the culture through our performances.
The costumes are colorful and elegant. We focus on the beauty of the dance and the talent of the dancers.
Andrea and her partner have been dancing Salsa for years. Their performance are full of energy. Andrea and partner performs a "caliente" show including different styles such as salsa, merengue, bachata. The couple can also teach a basic class on the event, depending on the client request.
Andrea also incorporates Samba into the salsa or belly dance shows.
Andrea has been Face Painting for years. She loves to face paint. She can come up with her own ideas or paint according to pictures.
Although not an authentic Hawaiian, Andrea performs Hula Dance and also includes fire on her shows .
"Dance Brasil" Entertainment provides a variety of entertainment for any type of event (small or large). We can also provide Vegas Style Showgirls, jugglers, magicians, LIVE Drummers, Bands, DJ's, Stils Walkers and more.
Andrea "Azima" Moreira and "Dance Brasil" has performed in different venues such as private parties (birthdays, carnaval parties, bar mitzvahs, weddings, anniversaries, bachelorette), festivals, corporate events, schools, restaurants, conventions, galas, fund raisers, theaters, parties, children's parties and more)
Andrea has appeared on on an episode of the Jeff Foxworthy TV show 'Blue Collar Comedy', a video special for Atlanta's Piedmont Park, and at the 75th anniversary of the Fox Theatre.
She performed for the world renowned singer Cheb Khaled on a special night at Imperial Fez and for Shadmehr Aghili and Andy's (famous Persian singers)concert at the Atlanta Symphony Hall.
Andrea is also in the video by the Blackeyed Peas and Sergio Mendes, "MAS QUE NADA" and on a episode of Atlanta Real Housewives.

Talk about Class A entertainment! Not only is Dance Brasil easy to work with but they also did an amazing performance that got everyone involved and was a definite crowd pleaser! They performed at the Unique Event Elements Open House and were a hit! I would recommend this form of entertainment for any corporate or social event!
