I have been playing my trumpet for the past 30 years in a wide range of events. For the past 20 years I have performed at funerals (live bugler), memorial services, weddings, tv/film, and all other occasions. I specialize in short notice event and have been performing internationally for 15 years as a bugler, in jazz bands, parade bands, concert bands and brass ensembles. I hired Andrew to play Taps at my dad's memorial and his performance cast a spell over our group. Andrew showed up 45 minutes early to scope out a great site for him to play which was far enough away from our small gathering but absolutely perfect to hear his trumpet. Despite the weather being cold he waited patiently while gathered and on my signal he started.
When he was done we stood there not wanting to move nor speak. His beautiful playing put us in a mood that I will cherish forever.

During the folding of the flag, I can also play “America the Beautiful”. I have added this because it fills the silence in a beautiful way while the meticulous folding occurs by men and women in uniform.

With my 14 year career as a police office in the NYPD, I have had the privilege to honor the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by playing taps at memorial services and funerals. I played taps several time at Ground Zero on 9/11 as well.
