Overview
I’m Andrew, a singer/songwriter and musician based in the Midwest. Recently, I was out for a run in downtown Des Moines when I got a last-minute call to open for AJR. Two hours later, I was on stage at Wells Fargo Arena playing for 5,000 people. It was such a wild, unforgettable experience—you can check it out in the videos tab!
I’d love to bring my music to your event, whether it’s a wedding, fundraiser, or something else special. I can play solo or with a duo, trio, or full band—whatever fits best. Feel free to reach out so we can discuss the details—I’m excited to work with you!

If there was the ability to give 10 stars we would ! Andrew was a surprise guest for my daughter’s 30th birthday party with her lifelong friends . He exceeded expectations and they had a wonderful time . They spent the next day listening to his music all day and cannot stop talking about what a gentleman and superstar he was . Just fantastic !

Andrew played for us at our family reunion that we hosted at our house. He sang for a crowd who ranged from 2 to 85+ years old and everyone loved every minute of the 3 hour show. Watching the toddlers run through the yard while Andrew sang Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah while playing his ukulele was my personal favorite moment. :) Beautiful voice, and incredibly talented. We all loved having Andrew as a part of our weekend festivities!

What to Expect
Arrival: Andrew will arrive 30-60 minutes prior to each performance to set up.
Equipment: Andrew has his own compact PA and sound equipment.
Space: As a solo musician with little gear, Andrew doesn't require very much room. He will adapt to your event space the best that he can.
About
Andrew Hoyt, a Des Moines, IA based singer/songwriter, blends Midwest roots with a love for music. After teaching K-5 vocal music for five years, he now pursues music full-time. Recently, he opened for AJR at Wells Fargo Arena and is working on a new EP with Nashville producer Lucas Morton, set to release in 2025.
