Andy Vargo brings your group to life by challenging us to 'Own Your Awkward'. While entertaining with the struggles he's overcome to truly be himself, he calls on each of us to take that thing we are self conscious about and turn it into our biggest asset. His message of being true to yourself and a genuine person motivates audiences to remove their own personal obstacles in order to clear an easier path to success and happiness.
Andy can be seen on stages throughout the northwest performing stand up comedy as well as at many private events as a motivational speaker. You can check out his books, videos and podcast by checking out his website.
I had the pleasure of meeting Andy at comedy class at Tacoma Comedy Club a few years ago. I have watched him embrace his awkward by bravely sharing his story on stage. Andy gently helps us all find the humor in our own struggles. Thank you, Andy! You are loved and admired by many.
Andy was invited to speak at one of our meetings. He is highly energetic. I liked his style and so did everybody else. I highly recommend inviting him.
When I entered Andy's event I was expecting a good presentation and a chance to recharge and find inspiration from his story. What I found was a man my own age but with a very different story. I also found as different a story he had, he told it in a way that connected with my own struggles and issues.
Andy Vargo talks of making major changes but what he really thrives at is his understanding that the initial change is just the beginning of the hardest and possibly most rewarding path you will take.
His books really break down how to keep the momentum of change going and how to keep yourself accountable. His passion for his craft is incredable and as he countinues his own path I look forward to learn from his expirences.
I have experienced Andy Vargo as a comedian, motivational speaker and author. I attended his talk, Living Without Shades, which was highly inspirational. I follow his Awkward Career podcast and website and have purchased his first guided journal. Andy is down to Earth, relatable and gives no nonsense, common sense advice. I highly recommend Andy for any event.
If you haven't heard Andy Vargo speak, or heard his comedy you're missing out. Andy has a way of relating his own life experience in his talks to your own. There wasn't a time when my mind wandered or I thought about other things. He kept everyone's attention throughout. At the end (which came all to soon) everyone agreed it was time well spent.
I just ordered his first book on Amazon and am loving it.
I left Andy’s speech feeling invigorated, inspired, and hopeful. His presentation was relatable and humorous. It made me consider my challenges from a different point of view, and to frame the process as it’s own measure of success. I can recommend him as an inspiring addition to any number of events.
