Anhedonia Delight

If you book me for your event, you can expect something unique, fun, engaging, and memorable! I am always providing new and refreshing entertainment dependent on where and with whom I'm working. I take at least 2 hours from start to finish to get myself completely prepared for a show. This means from shaving to shower, to makeup, costume. I transport myself to all of my destinations unless otherwise provided by the agent or venue for the gig.

I mingle and converse with the crowd or people involved in the event as well as take photos, sign merch, chat, etc. at the venue to keep people present and get them excited for my show. During, the show, I enjoy speaking to the audience on the microphone through witty banter, jokes, and interactive games. After I perform, I take bit of time to change costumes, touch up makeup, and prep before returning for a second or third set of performances. After everything is over, I am usually able to stay afterwards for a cocktail or after party with the audience.

Anhedonia Delight is a drag staple and leader within the Cleveland community, celebrating 7 years and performing full-time. Self-proclaimed, 'Cleveland's Vixen of Versatility', she is the femme fatale of filth and the essence of sin when it comes to stage performances. She takes pride in being one of the few Ohio-based stilt-walking drag entertainers with a specialty in alternative stage performances, sure to leave you raising an eyebrow. Most notably, Anhedonia is known for her dynamic range of fashions, energetic and captivating stage presence, and humor both on and off the stage!

Anhedonia produces and hosts alternative drag show shows every month at the Grog Shop, entitled "GlamGore", featuring performance artists ranging from pageant queens to drag super monsters! She is also half of the drag cooking class and fundraiser “Pigs ‘N’ Wigs” and co-creator of “The Dauber Divas of Cleveland”, a semi-scripted bingo show with fellow entertainer and business partner, Peach Fuzz!

Anhedonia has performed in over 1000 shows in the tri-state area of Ohio, including Pennsylvania and Kentucky. She has appeared in several Ohio college publications, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Destination Cleveland & Cleveland Scene Magazine! Among many local Ohio venues, Anhedonia has starred in The Cleveland Opera Theater, the Ohio Burlesque Festival, the Cleveland Drag Showcase, Pride in the CLE, and headlined the Austin International Drag Festival in 2023!

Performance Style:

Anhedonia’s typical performances are conceptual, captivating, and thematic. She prefers to perform to custom music mixes that incorporate spoken word segments and movie clips. These are made to create comedy and cohesion in her shows. Anhedonia also utilizes props sometimes that help make the performance more special and interesting. Her goal is to stay memorable through something unique that other performers may overlook. Her performances sometimes require some nuance and attention to detail, because every outfit, accessory, and song is built from the ground up.

Anhedonia relies on her powerful lip-syncs to connect with the audience. She isn’t afraid to incorporate all genres into her repertoire and can mold her specific show themes from filth and horror to beauty and glam!

Availability:

I am available for a wide variety of venues, events, and parties. I typically perform in clubs and bars, but will occasionally perform at private events, homes, theaters, schools, etc. I am able to tailor my work to your needs so please do not hesitate to ask for something special and unique! Some of my most favorite and special times performing were when I was challenged to go outside of my comfort zone and provide something dazzling and exciting!

I am a self-taught makeup artist, performer, and stylist. I've taught myself how to work a crowd, host shows, and market myself! It is difficult but worth it because meeting and networking with people is something I enjoy.

Out of drag, I enjoy all things historic. I love antiques, history, crocheting, intelligent conversation, etc. My drag persona mirrors that to an extent. I have an affinity for Hollywood glamour. I know my references in LGBTQ history and fashion. I'm a huge movie buff of the cult classics. My performances tend to incorporate many movies and spoken word pieces that add comedy or matches the song choice I perform to.

Dependent on venue. For venues where I'm performing for a larger audience at night time, stage lighting is key. I can provide 2 2500 Watt outdoor speakers with 2 cordless microphones ready for hosting parties inside or outside! If not, Drag artists like myself also require at least one microphone to engage with the audience. If not, a DJ or person to accommodate s ample sound at your location is necessary!

My performances start and stop with music I provide to a DJ. This means a sound system is necessary for me to perform. These can be as simple as a Bluetooth home sound system or as large as a concert hall / theater!

All of my music files are either MP3 or M4A, unless other arrangements are made.
