Animal Wonders offers conservation, ecology, science, & animal educational programs to enhance appreciation and understanding of the natural world.
Established in 2008, our programs & activities are fun, educational, interactive, age-appropriate, & customized for children and adults. We create & bring our programs to your school for in-class workshops, after-school programs, as well as pre-schools/daycares, scouts, 4-H, FFA, summer camps, youth groups, senior living centers, scouting events, community events, library events, birthday parties, corporate functions, benefits, or any special outing in the Midwest. Fully licensed & insured, A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

We invited animal wonders to the Polly's Pop fest in Independence, MO. The festival was a large event put on by Polly's Pop for the whole city to enjoy. Animal Wonders set up a booth with parrots, seeming how they fit the theme of the fest perfectly, and they were a big hit with both kids and adults. They were easy to communicate with and we were very pleased with their services. We highly recommend Animal Wonders!
Even better than we’d expected! Dan communicated well while planning, arrived on time and never made us feel rushed. Kids and adults loved holding the animals and learning about them. Definitely recommend Animal Wonders!!!

We hired Animal Wonders for our sons 5th birthday party! It was so wonderful!! The kids were so engaged, the reptiles were awesome and everyone got to touch or hold each one. I highly recommend for parties or events!!
Dan was very knowledgeable and patient with the kids at my daughter’s party! He took the time to allow everyone the chance to hold the birds. My daughter said it was the best birthday she’s ever had! We will certainly never forget this experience! Thank you!!

Dan was so easy to work with and really delivered on bringing a set of animals that my kiddo would enjoy. By the end all of the kids (even those that were nervous) touched or held something. Plus, there were nuggets of information that kept kids and adults engaged. We had a small group and it was a lot of fun.
Dan was everything we hoped for and mire! He loves the animals and children too!! Couldn't of been happier..THANKS ANIMAL WONDERS!!!

For my 13th birthday party I had Animal Wonders (his name is Dan) come to my house and it was really fun! My friends liked it too. He brought 2 corn snakes, a milk snake, a blue tongue skink, leopard geckos, and even an alligator! Some of my friends where scared of snakes, but his milk snake was so nice that they where not afraid anymore. It's really cool that he rescues tons of different reptiles. I am very excited to have him come next year. :)

Dan did an amazing job with our son's 5 year old birthday party. We could not have asked for anything better. The kids all loved it and my son loved it. Dan did an excellent job with the kids. We would have him back again for sure!

Gave tons of information maybe a little too much for some of the younger kids that were there but Jaxen and the other 5 and 6 year olds loved it.

I've known Dan for a long time, but didn't realize just how his shows worked until I had him come for daughter's 9th birthday party. He brought a great selection of animals, was very interactive with all the children. He was teaching a great lesson and the children were having so much fun it was if they didn't realize they were learning. Dan truly cares about what his does, about his animals, the children he works for, overall animal welfare, and making sure all involved were happy. More than pleased and highly recommend his company.

Animal Wonders was started in 2008 by former AZA zoo keepers after seeing the interest for conservation and animal education from students we have worked with. Having many years experience with such species, the educators of Animal Wonders do not condone ownership, approve use of or will ever expose children to wild cats, wild dogs, great apes, large snakes, or any other potentially dangerous animal. Our animals are for educational purposes, they are not circus acts or performers. We strive for as natural behavior as possible for a captive wild species. Nearly all of the animals of Animal Wonders are rescues or surrenders and depend on programs for their husbandry.
