Anna Larson

I provide can provide tasteful instrumental music for wedding ceremonies. Additionally, I am able to support the ambiance of a private party or cocktail hour with background music of the clients choosing (ranging from classical/classically influenced music, jazz standards, country influenced music, pop, broadway, etc) Additionally, I can bring my music to the forefront, if the client desires, by playing a singer-songwriter set comprised of originals and covers.

Anna Larson is a musician based in Austin, Texas. Her music studies at the University of Texas at Austin laid the foundation for the development of her own style of playing and writing. She is well versed in a number of styles, but her playing is uniquely her own.

She has played numerous special events in the Austin area since 2000, including private parties, fundraisers, wine tastings, and weddings. Her piano playing provides elegance and ambiance to any special occasion.

Anna plays keyboards, as well as guitar, and sings and writes songs with a number of projects in Austin, including fronting her own band, and playing with The Wheelwrights, an Americana band in Austin. She enjoys collaborating with musicians of all styles in the Austin area. Ms. Larson is a long-time music educator, with an active piano studio, and has composed original scores for theatre since 2012, with her music appearing at The Off-Center and in FronteraFest . Her music has appeared on NPR's "All Songs Considered" in 2019, as well as placing 2nd in the Woody Guthrie Songwriting Competition in 2019.

I travel with my Nord Electro 4HP piano. It provides excellent, realistic piano sounds. I also have my own mic, stand, and cables, if needed. I can provide my own keyboard amp, but would prefer to play through an on-site PA system. I provide all neccessary stands and cables for my keyboard.
