Annie can perform specific original acts ranging from 3 minutes to 15 minutes per set, numbers include classic burlesque, comedic burlesque, fan dancing, singing, and more. Annie also performs as a walk-around character for hire, with characters ranging from Mad Men's Joan Holloway, to a flapper, to a gypsy fortuneteller, to trailer-trash goddess Tanqueray Vulgaris-Jones. Annie is also a producer with access to performers of all stripes including fire performers, jugglers, clowns, and more. She has extensive experience making theatrical magic happen in the form of a well crafted variety show. She and her husband, Damian Blake, are partners on-stage and off... Available as a duo (as well as solo) they can perform as Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Goddard, as Tanqueray Vulgaris Jones with Arty Vulgaris or Big Danny, an organ grinder with gypsy girl, a pair of feisty and hilarious pickpockets, and more!

Annie was born at high noon in the springtime, near the mighty, muddy Missouri River. She grew up dancing, singing, and making people laugh. As a young woman, she fell prey to the lure of a belly dancer's swaying hips, inspiring her to learn how to shake her own moneymaker. The earthy drumbeats evolved into the thrill of the jazz band and the bump 'n' grind, and Annie's career moved onto the burlesque stage. Burlesque led to clowning for both grownups and children, and to a deep love affair with parody and improvisational theatre. Annie's love for the shimmy and shake remains strong as she continues exploring other forms of self-expression, from street performance to film acting.

Annie loves facilitating the creation of your special event. She has produced large scale vaudeville-style events all over Kansas City, including at The Folly Theater. Annie is an ordained wedding officiant, specializing in tailor-made secular ceremony.
